Well done United. One more goal by Ronaldo and he wins his bet with Ferguson. Manchester United vs Arsenal in the FA Cup final should be another cracker, it doesn´t get much better than that.

Anyway, a good performance and a good result. Great to see Ruud looking like his old self though I still have doubts over whether or not he can consistently reproduce his best form and get back to his very best, hopefully he can though, he was outstanding today and two good goals. The entire defence performed well and Howard wasn't too bad though I still get scared when the ball gets passed back to him, Scholes, Ronaldo and Rooney were all absolutely outstanding, Ronaldo man of the match for me with a great goal and two great crosses. Scholes was at his very best and Rooney really put them under pressure at times. Keane and Fortune both had solid games.
Total Domination bar Newcastles 10 minute comeback, disappointing to concede but its an outstanding result and I can't wait till the final.

All afternoon Rooney and Scholes were playing in a free-role causing us no end of problems and we failed to tighten up on them. In fact Butt might as well have had a red shirt on, he gifted you with some great passes.
Laurant Robert can **** off back to France, the lazy bastard never gets back to help on the left.

That was the response I expected from Manchester United after the horrible showing at Norwich. Ruud was instrumental today and fit in almost all the play. There were also signs of him from his PSV days with the shot from outside the box and the audatious chip. Both attempts were on target and van Nistelrooy was unlucky to score his hat-trick.
The trio of Rooney, Scholes and Ronaldo was magnificient today. They had the hunger which was missing last week.
On a negative note, I was disappointed with the goal we conceded. Howard has to take some of the blame for that. It was a narrow shot and a saveable one but it gone through his legs unlike the one against Fulham which was a lucky deflection off his shin.
Looking forward to the final against Arsenal, and hopefully we have a fully fit side that has gelled by then.

Despite the scoreline, it's not a performence that deserved so much praise. Newcastle's defence is a complete joke. Our play was way way way so predictable, with the absence of Giggs, most of our plays are initiated from the right wing that ended with a cross by Ronaldo. Given another chance against AC had we performed like this I expect us to get humuliated again.
The only positive note of the afternoon is that Ruud finally gets back his scoring touch again (newcastle has been Ruud's best friend down the years anyway). Oh and...I think it deserves a mention that Ronaldo seems to be finally learning the art of setting up goals, although it's still far from what's required of the famous No. 7 shirt.

Great win. Very happy and Newcastle's defense totally sucked. They couldn't even clear the ball properly in the first half. Very dissapointed with the Ronaldo dive though, he should have never done that, but oh well, 2 assists and a goal make up for it.Ruud looked very good today and if only that chip went in, it would have been awesome then. Hopefully we can keep it up and get the same score with Newcastle in a week
