FA Premiership Font done but got a problem...

I've made a Premiership names and numbers font as a post-script .pfb, but... it crashes my FIFA when loading a game, but then again so do the FIFAMANIA fonts, which have worked for other people.

Anyone know why this is happening (hopefully the guy who made the FIFAMANIA ones is reading this :p)?

It is because the file is too large, and too much memory resources are being used up. Try making the fonts of a lower resolution...

Not really..it crashres simply because u have to put the cracthers map with all the ascii code...waht fifamania did that was jsut a screenshot...the files are diffren inside here is a pic :

No, I would know, because I have just made a font converter. It happens when I convert some perfectly valid ttf file into a perfectly valid pfb file. (read by other software, just not FIFA.)

And he said that he made a pfb file, i.e. he has made a font which has all the correct ASCII assignment, so not just the images.

I took a font called Optima and condensed it, then traced the Premiership numbers and threw them in.

Anyway, Korner, I'll e-mail them to you and hopefully you can do something with them.

This is what I came up with, 100% my work, which I am extremely proud of, since I cannot do graphics. I think it's definitely not a touch of masterclass from a graphics expert, but it's very good for me, since I am a complete novice!:)

Anyway, I had a copy which had the Premiership logo in much higher resolution, and it looked much much better, but that made FIFA crash....so I had to settle with a lower resolution logo :(

I was going to wait for the ECP site relaunch, but I might reconsider if there's enough interest in these minor projects that I'm doing...;)
