I think we all saw what he did in the UEFA CUP Final and he has done alot of stupid things.

What is your opinion about this guy??


I think hes a great goalie but definetly makes to much mistakes. But he is extremely funny to watch and lives up the game.

I will always remember when he took a piss on field during a game.

It would be nice any of you french guys could give me any info about what the opinion about him is in France, do people think there should be another goalie in the NT?

Barthez is very overated. He was only seen as a good goalie because he played for a superb French team that won both national championships and he then played for Man United, a good team can always make a weak link look good.

Barthez use to be a good GK but he has definately slipped the past years...

Anywayz I agree that Frey should be called up by Jacque Santini and him or Coupet should be the starters...

agreed, make frey the number 1, its sad he wasnt even called to the france squad for Euro

well i hope they start barthez so he can show a 2nd time on the world stage that he blows...anyone remember wc2002

barthez is the biggest fool i've ever seen, just because he can jump high and even tho the ball is going over, he jumps up and tips it over, it looks nice, so ppl think he's great...........he's a joke, his career was done years ago..bring Frey to France:f***:

He is a great goalie, but does make some mistakes from time to time. Every goalie does.

I think it was in the Uefa Cup semi that he took a piss , not sure though . He is occasionaly a great goalie but makes basic errors a can lose you a game . He is entertaining though.
