Just thought I'd have a topic for the best goals of the qualifiers.

Here are mine:

1. Oper of Estonia......1st goal against the Dutch in Estonia

2. Rosicky of Czech Rep........5th goal vs Bulgaria in Czech

3. Arveladze of Georgia.........1st goal vs Hungary in Georgia
(guy dribbles by two guys to the touchline for a great cross)

4. Graveson of Denmark......4th goal vs Iceland in Denmark

5. Miculae of Romania......2nd goal vs Hungary in Romania
(great diving header)

The best goal in a qualifying match was the Freekick by the English captain Beckham that silenced the media against Greece for sure, it made all the difference

That freeckick was a HUUUUGE goal. Loved the image of Beckham running towards the mob, openning his arms while everybody was going nuts.

My favourite goal is Portugal's last, a Figo superb shot over the keeper. The only thing that poor keeper was able to move was his head. Anybody else saw it?

I definately think Beckham free kick against Greece. The pressure on that free kick must've been immense and he hit it perfectly.

I heard the German team were doing a victory parade around the stadium, thinking they'd qualified with an England loss, when the news came in that Beckham had equalised with the last kick of the match. Is that true?

They were all crowded round TV monitors. The look on their faces when they saw Beckham score was just unforgettable (from an English viewpoint).
