My Top Ten goes up to Eleven because it's one louder [than ten], isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be listing up to ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your list. Where can you go from there? Where?

1. Electric Ladyland - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
2. Sgt. Peppers... - The Beatles
3. What's Going On - Marvin Gaye
4. Nevermind - Nirvana
5. Songs In The Key Of Life - Stevie Wonder
6. A Kind Of Blue - Miles Davis
7. Axis: Bold As Love - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
8. Disraeli Gears - Cream
9. The Beatles - The Beatles
10. The Who Sell Out - The Who
11. Ten - Pearl Jam

2. Rage Against the Machine
3. Radiohead - The Bends
4. Radiohead - OK Computer
5. Soundgarden - Down on the Upside

SuperUnkown just misses out from my all-time top 5.

I've got a lot of potential buys for the near future, too:

Pink Floyd - Echoes
Pearl Jam - Yield (and Ten)
Primal Scream - XTRMNTR
Razorlight (Untitled as yet, but coming in 2004)
Futureheads (another 2004 release. No idea about the title)
Elbow - Asleep at the Back
The Libertines - Up the Bracket (hopefully a limited edition with What a Waster on it)

All this depends on:

How pisched I get over the month of December (Chrimbo, birthday and random booze-ups) and whether my student loan will ever get any further than Glasgow.

To be honest, i reckon Silverchair's best work was Neon Ballroom, fantasicly orchestrated album, gotta love the opening track 'Emotion Sickness.'

A lot of the albums that users have posted are really good, apart from the rap ones. :mrpimp:

awesome album that...not really a bad song on there :D

Yeah, I mean, their first album was cool, then on Rated "R" they expiremented a bit more and got better in the process.....and songs for the deaf was just...........damn..........especially Dave Grohl.....he kicked ass in Nirvana, but on SFTD he got a bit more technical and the result is simply amazing.

Without knowing too much about other classic rock 'n' roll albums, I'd still say that Songs For The Deaf belongs in that category.....a classic! (H)
