I think its pretty much impossible to have more than one favorite team. What happens when those two teams meet? who do you support then? the answer is your favorite team...
I mean how can you name four teams as your favorite while all these teams hate each other?

1. Luch Vladivostok (Russian 2nd divsion East. Played in Premier league in 1993 Season)
2. Okean Nakhodka (Russian 2nd division East. Played in Premier league in 1992 and 1993 seasons. Drawed with Spartak Moscow 1:1 both times in 1993 season. Spartak was in UEFA Cup Semifinal that year)
3. Rotor Volgograd (Russian Premier; have been couple of times in UEFA Cup, beat Manchester United about 3-5 years ago by penalties in the UEFA Cup)
4. Bologna
5. Celta Vigo
6. Wrexham (English second, Welsh club, one of the best clubs in Wales)
7. Dug & Red (amateur divison in England

as to PP : some people like a few clubs, some more than others, and would root for their favorite in case they met. In any case, most people like clubs from different leagues.

Yes I know its just semantics, I also like many different teams in many different leagues, but I think when you say "favorite" it should be the team you like the best.

Also I don't really think its cool when a persons favorites just happen to be the best teams in those leagues. In USA its called being a "front-runner", and I have little respect for those kind of supporters. You know what I mean, people who supported Bulls just cause Jordan played for them or people who support Man U. just because they won a lot of championships recently.

My San Jose Earthquakes missed the playoffs three years in a row, but they are still my team!

That should prove that I'm not a "front-runner".

Favorite Teams. That's always a tough question. I know most diehards find the idea of liking more than one team (especially in the same division) rediculous. Most people root for the club their parents root for or the town where they are from or the first club they ever saw... As an American fan I find it hard to have one team only, I guess because I'm not from any of these places so there's not that emotional tie. I like watching the game almost regardless of who's playing. So being an outsider I admire quite a few teams...

I agree with you Polish about the "Front Runner" comment. A lot of people switch allegiances every year - fair weather fans.

My favorites include:

U.S.: D.C. United
For a good reason! I was born in the Baltimore/D.C. area and lived there several years. It was good to see Chicago win that one year, it was a great game.

Indoor Soccer: Baltimore Blast
Anybody remember the MISL? I wish that league would have survived. Very exciting game with the ball ricocheting off the boards. I thought it was pretty cool.

England: Tottenham & Chelsea
Saw them both play on their home fields last year. I have relatives in London so I tend to root for the London clubs but I like most of the Premier League (accept Man U.!) You could also argue that I should be a QPR fan since that was the first Premier League match I went to (vs. Middlesbrough with Juninho).

Germany: Hertha Berlin
I'm part German too, although maybe I should support Hannover as well since part of my family came from there.

Scotland: Celtic
I hate Rangers.

Italy: Fiorentina
I hate Inter, A.C., Junventus, Parma & Lazio. Roma is ok.

Holland: Vitesse Arnhem
Probably because of my interest in history and the WWII battle fought there, "A Bridge Too Far".

Don't really have a definitive favorite in the Spanish Liga yet. I do like underrated Valencia & Real Betis. I don't like Barcelona (good players though) & Real Madrid (overrated).

Hate : Russian rocket, cause he likened Arsenal to Chelsea. Too many foreigners eh ? 5 out of 11 for the normal XI is on par with even Man utd.
