what is your all-time favourite kit?? is it an unusually designed kit that works really well or is a really simple kit that looks great?

well here is the thread to post pics of your favourite kits of all time and for discussion on what you think makes a great kit

one of my favourites is the away kit valencia wore during the 2004/05 season

i am a massive fan of the nike kits circa 2004/2005 and this valencia kit uses what i think was a great combination of colours to go for something a bit different... and in my opinion, it looked great

(player saluting: Dani ... such talent, but ultimately all to waste

hahahaha, Dani! :D

man, he was the 90's "nani" or "ronaldo" or something, in the sense that he left for a big european club labeled as a huge promess, but he didn't quite catch on..

he then out of the blue retired at, like, 25....they tried to pull a TV presenter out of him, he even presented a show during EURO 2004 here, but it also went to waste....presently he just settles for banging hot chicks (Y)

"Nick my dog again you Plastic Scouse c*nt and I'll shoot you"... you never see this goal celebration these days, ever since joining the Bluenoses all Van Der Meyde has done is get injured, get blind drunk and miss training, get involved in fights and lose his dog! (H)

Here's some of my fave Sheepshagger jerseys...

2005-2006 third shirt

A real classy black number made in the memory of the late great John Charles, the black representing Juventus, the white representing Leeds, and the red representing Wales of course - three teams he played for with great distinction. We only wore it twice and didn't win either game in it but still one of the best looking change kits we've ever had (despite being made by Krappa!)

2002-2004 home shirt

The only decent Krappa kit we ever had, almost got to Euro 2004 in it, bar for Yegor Cheatov and that c*nt Vadim Yevseyev. Always reminds me of that special night in 2002 when the Italians came to town and were sent packing 2-1.

1984-1987 home shirt

The last time we wore Adidas, one of the best Welsh shirts ever IMO, would have been on display in Euro 84 but for Ljubomir Radanović scoring THAT goal against Bulgaria in injury time, and would have been on display in Mexico 86 but for a blind French ref giving Scotland a cheap penalty. Last time we beat the Sais was in this shirt so it's special enough to me (H)

Wasn't there a big brother type reality show once based around his life too? ...maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Whenever I think of Dani, I always remember that fantasic goal he scored against Atletico Madrid.

That IS an amazing shirt! That's the kind of retro I like, not the bland faux-retro that companies like Nike try to create these days.

Fan Favourite

One of my favorites, definitely, could be because I got that kit when I was 9 or something.
Also, I've liked many of Holland's home kit's, take the one from EURO 2000 for example. And the Italy home kit in WC 2006 was pure class too.

Yes,the Manchester United kits for the last two seasons have been out of this world.I also favour the new Germany kits and their 2002 kits. The 1970 Brazil World Cup Home Kits is an all time favourite coz of the team that they have and also because of the triumph.

Umbro's last great shirt, just because you know instantly whose shirt it is. Somewhat ruined by the fact that Sweden had the exact same template with the exact same effect.

I also love this kit immensely.

Sigh. So pretty. I even ditched my short sleeve one to get a long sleeve version. Doesn't quite suit me but it's beautiful nonetheless.

I'm also a fan of the Barcelona red shorts kit mentioned earlier.
