So, the fact that Barca are doing so well. How does it reflect on Pep? Anyone else think that he got more credit than he deserved and that it was down to the players (and background staff that developped them)?

Tough to say if it was the best, but definitely a great performance. One of the rare matches where the opponent actually put up a good fight, but Barca just ran over them slowly.

This is the best Barça, Tito managed to combine max. verticality with game of position. With Alba overalapping by the touch line Iniesta can leave the wing and generate a perfect context for Cesc to run into space.

I agree with you, but one could put forth the argument that Tito is just following Pep's work

How good is Alba for your team? Are there other left-backs you'd prefer to have?

After watching Alba in Valencia I expected him to be a big improvement in our team. But I never thought he would be THIS good.
In previous seasons, Barça was so unbalanced with Alves and Abidal. And we needed a player like Alba on the left side. But I'd say now we are still unbalanced because Alba is so much better than Alves.

I get the feeling that this success is due to the players having fun again after four physically and mentally grueling years. Now, with a rookie coach and Madrid putting no pressure on the team, the players are having more fun and it's bringing the best out of them, at least for now.

I don't think too much should be made of Tito's success until Barca start balancing the league and the Champions League. Expectations will be high again, the players will have less rest, and one loss could make this season a disappointment. Pep's achievement was keeping his players focused and hungry for years. Tito has yet to prove he can do the same.

This team Tito took it's Pep's legacy. Also Tito is a very well prepared coach, his name is funny and he isn't top stuff in mediatic terms but he is very good and for 5 years he has worked with the best (Seirul·lo, Pep...)

What would be the options for his spot?

Where would he go? Apart from Milan I can't even think of a big team that even needs him.

Arsenal?

I see him going to the Premiership.

This isn't that bad for Barcelona, they might end up with a keeper better than Valdes.
