Me too. The team is in a transition period and the players needed time to adjust to van Gaal and his system and so on. Playing in Europe would've been a further distraction. We'll most likely qualify for the CL and with a few good signings in the summer we could do well next season, both in the league and CL I think.

Yeah with our shitty defense it wouldn't be a surprise at all. That Neymar Suarez Messi trio would run rampant against us.

But I have to say all the goals that were scored were beauties. Especially Suarez 2nd and Messi shot into the top corner.

Agreed. I think I've only watched a full match just once with that guy commentating and that was enough for me. It was some el clasico. You can maybe listen to his bizarre expressions and screaming for 5 minutes and after that it becomes unbearable. Some people like him though, dunno why.

Yeah he can be fun to listen to at times. But not for the full 90 minutes. I think he's often "overdoing" it with his commentary.
