the quote is from a Brazilian talk show, and the links provided are from the Spanish and Italian sports websites that are closest to the 2 clubs involved ... so yeah, your continued prejudice against Italy is totally justified, as always ...

I don't trust any transfer news from any Spanish or Italian sources until it is finalized. Those countries are littered with unreliable tabloids who just make **** up to move copy. "Sanchez Transfer Done" says tabloid, "They haven't even contacted us" says president. Don't be a fool.

Oh, Ganso is going to Milan say Mediaset. That's legit.

It's even giving bull**** like this the time of day that makes a smart person like you actually think Madrid will buy Zlatan. I'd say at this point it's more likely that Zlatan buys Real Madrid.

no, tabloid rumours are when they make up a story from nothing, not when the story is from a player's direct quote ... I mean if the player and his agent are trying to hush it up now, and talk about being misquoted, it sounds like they want avoid the consequences of a 'tapping up' scandal ... but I don't think this deal can happen; just surprised that, after all the talk of not needing a defender, Barça still tapped one of the best up ...

the Alexis 'done deal' situation was reported factually: an agreement with the player was reached; it was only a matter of agreeing on a price ... that's what was reported, and that is what happened ... how you think that is merely tabloid talk can only be explained by the blinkers you have on ...

as for Zlatan, well I made my case (in the Milan thread) on my own terms for why such a transfer could work ... people said that the Barcelona deal would never happen in 2009 because it was too complicated, but there was a flurry of complex activity right at the end of the summer ... it is mid-June now, the transfer window isn't open for another fortnight, so Zlatan is still a Barcelona player till July 1st ... Milan, the player, and his loudmouth agent, would have to deny, up and down, any Real Madrid link while Barça could still try to scupper the deal ...

I'm not saying that such a transfer will happen; but I can see the logic behind a situation where it can ... Ricky's father, btw, was at AC Milan's offices the day before yesterday ...

Barca would still have to agree to the transfer and they would never sell a player as good as Zlatan to Real Madrid unless Real were willing to pay Ronaldo money AND Milan wasn't willing to pay a reasonable fee AND no one else was either. Don't see that happening.

what?

I think you're missing a few key points:

we know that Milan will buy Zlatan at the agreed-upon €24million fee from Barça ...

- any club, after purchasing a player's contract, can sell him on if they choose to before registering their squad;

- Zlatan has only been registered for Milan in 2011, so would not have a problem with FIFA's maximum 2 clubs per calendar year rule;
the point is that while the price (€24mil -> €8mil p.a. for 3 years) has been agreed in principle, it needs to signed, sealed, and delivered before the move is completed ... this will happen once the transfer window opens (July 1) ...

if Barcelona get wind of a concrete Real Madrid-Milan deal before putting the final signatures on the sale of Zlatan to Milan, Barça may/would complicate matters by, if not forcing the inclusion of a clause that he would not be sold to Real Madrid, then at least dragging out the talks till the end of summer so that it becomes impossible to conclude any deal with Real Madrid ...

24 kilos. Esta cantidad sería más o menos la tasación que tendría en el mercado el defensa brasileño.
hah, I don't think so ... Milan would be idiots to sell Thiago Silva, let alone for that amount ... he's contracted for the next 5 years, and he's 26 and at his prime ... there is no ready-made replacement waiting to be bought ... it should be 50 million to even entertain the thought of parting with him ...
