Cesc Fabregas is proud to be an Arsenal player. Just because he came from your youth team doesn't mean he's your player. He is under contract with us and some thick-headed Barcelona fans (and players) seem to have real trouble fathoming this. So Puyol, Pique, and any smug Barca supporters who think Fabregas somehow rightfully belongs to them can **** off for at least another year.

I think what pique and pujol did was so silly .. and unrespectful
I'm really surprised about their action .. specially from the captain !!
I dont think that they meant to hurt anyone but the action was really rude to Arsenal fans !!
cesc still their captain and their player and everyone should respect that !!

Well the talks already fell through anyway between Barca and Arsenal, Cesc is staying at Arsenal for now; I found it both hilarious AND inappropriate! :biggrinx:

I'm hearing stories that Barcelona is having money problems. Massive debts and unable to pay player wages. £125 million crisis loans to ease debts and cash-flow problems.

Even more alarming when I read this quote.

anyone expand?

seriously though, you guys don't seem to bothered, when the news started to come out about united, the fans revolted with the green and gold.

Unable to pay player wages is pretty alarming. Even more worrying when your spending the way you are which must be putting the club into even more debt? I wonder where all the clubs money is going?

Note that Spain is miles behind England in terms of having dealt with the economic crisis, or just the economy in general.

Its not like you think, i'm not abble to explain it in english. All its economic demagogy by Rosell to found a reason to sell Zlatan.

If Adriano thing its true, very good sign.

Yes it is. I already checked it on Sevilla website and there's an interview with DelNido saying Adriano's almost in Barcelona for a very good offer. Also, his wikipedia page has already been updated (H)

Cool then, he can play in both sides as winger or fullback. With that sign we've got the backup for Alves and the winger we were looking for.

Wellcome

Yes he is a polyvalent player, who hits the ball very well with both feet. I think he can also play as LB (not sure).

Adriano will wear the number 21. Spain u-19 its playing the european championship and from the line up, 7 lads are from barça youth teams + pacheco.

Quit taking our good players.

It's okay though, Adriano said at the beginning of the summer that he felt his time at Sevilla was done, and with Capel, Perotti, and Navas on the wings he wouldn't have had as much playing time as he wanted.

What he brings to the table is his ability to play LB, LW, RB, and RW. He started as a left back, was converted to a left winger, and then back to a left and right back once Capel and Perotti emerged. He will be Barcelona's band-aid. On the flip side, he is very injury prone and his form is inconsistent. All in all though, a strong, fast, happy player.

We've now given you 2/3 of the Renato/Alves/Adriano Brazilian trio that made us great. :(

My two greatest memories of Adriano:

Goal against Osasuna that made us league leaders at the time:
