FC Basel vs. Inter Milan [P + R]

I predict a win for Inter.

Reasons why
-Switzerland is located just above Lombardia (region where Milan is located) hence there will be no travel fatigue and more Inter fans are likely to make the trip over the Swiss border.

-Inter looks very strong this season and nothing will stop them from making it to the Champions League. Basel is also looking strong and has the advantage of having already started their league recently. However, the likes of Kleber, Chipperfield and Gimenez are no match for the likes of Zanetti, Veron and Adriano.

-Inter's coach is Mancini.

-I say all this as an AC Milan fan, so they must be going to win.

well hopefully goal.com got the line-ups wrong like they usually do...I think they just make stuff up...I would like to see Davids in the 11 rather than Cambiasso...thats what channel4 has anyway

tough to predict, but I think it will end 1-1 or 2-1 to us...it sucks but we're usually always good for that lapse in concentration where they get a goal...maybe Mancini can instill a mentality that gets rid of that

Does it really matter if he leaves? Inter has enough quality in midfield. Stankovic is better anyhow, in my opinion.

Vieri and Cannavaro are who you should be worried about. If they leave Inter's strength will drop considerably, and another team's strength with increase considerably.

Should be an interesting game though I think the team can pull through and win it, maybe a 2-1 scoreline. Anywayz this is the formation I most want to see vs. Basel.

If Davids and Adriano are only gonna play for half the game, I'd prefer that they come on in the second half, plus, I really want to see Cambiasso given a chance. Let's see what he can offer to this squad, man.

yeah I like Emre on the left and Stankovic on the right...Emre is not the greatest winger but he is very hard to handle in that area outside the box
