I'm saying Bayern doesn't have any playmaker in their roster. a world class player like Özil fits everywhere.

Kroos and Schweinsteiger can play that position, anyway Bayern now plays without playmakers, dont know with Heynckes, in Leverkusen he had Ballack...

Like Paolo said, we actually have Kroos. The reason you don't see him much is because he doesn't fit with the van Gaal system, which was essentially a slightly modified 4-4-2.

What was Petersen's transfer fee?

These signings are really good. the depth of Bayern squad is improving.

I think they should focus mostly on central defenders and a decent replacement for Robben/Ribery because they are mostly injured.

An portuguese player, im not very crazy about that, after this boring final. Coentrao of course still is a great player, but like someone said before, its seems, he doesnt really want to come to us. So let it be, i´d say.
Still we need a top notch cb. But i cant think of anyone good enough AND available. Any suggestions? About injury prone Robbery, in my opinion Reus would really be a nice option.

P.S. Heard Barca is interested in Vidal too...wouldnt make him cheaper.

I say bid what ever can for Gotze or make sure he doesn't go anywhere that kid is something. Lilles Gervinho seems good also as Robbery alternative.

Barca are full of ****, he would only get starts if there were a lot of injuries like Keita. Otherwise I hope he likes coming off the bench.

As for Porto, the team is just very talented and a lot of those players have the talent to play at Bayern. It's a completely other question of whether they would dislodge someone who is already established in the team, or even settle in Germany; a question I didn't address.

Gervinho is a good player and if he doesn't mind being a rotation player I'd love to have him. Excellent talent. I've heard we were interested earlier this season, but who knows if the fee and the lack of a starting spot will put him off.

As for CBs available, yeah there are a few that I can think of, but I haven't heard the club is interested. Kjaer, Bassong, Hangeland, and Alex are all players who could be attainable and depending on who you ask are good enough. Obviously that's in addition to Howedes and Hummels who we probably won't get this summer, but are on the radar.

Gotze is unrealistic at this point.

In addition to number 9 topic, Gerd Müller also wore nr 9. Anyway, Petersen is very talented and promising player, adds depth for sure.
But most important thing is to find some extra players who can cover defence. I think Kjaer, Bassong or Alex would be ge good picks but just one player isn´t enough. And I also think defence needs experience, Kjaer is way too young I guess. Shifty, why Hummels and Howedes are out of question?

EDIT: I would like to have Marin in our squad, amazingly quick, reminds me Ribery little bit.

We are announcing Neuer and J.Boateng in the next days, but Boateng is not a full CB, I'd wish Höwedes but very hard, otherwise Hangeland why not?

Alex would be one of my first choices too, but it doesnt seem to be very realistic. Rangnick would never release Höwedes, at least not this year. Hummels, not this year. Kjaer is not good enough in my view. Hangeland, thats the tall guy from Fulham? Dont know very much about him.

I guess Vidal could take Mascheranos place. I think he´s the more complete Nr. 6.

I just threw out those names to the question of whether there were good CBs out there that we could potentially buy. Yeah those guys are out there, but with the exception of Alex I haven't heard us mentioned interested in any of them.

Marin, I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, he can do some very impressive things with the ball, but he doesn't "get it". Not a team player, doesn't quite understand how a game is played. Compare/contrast with Ozil who was on Werder Bremen last year; if anything Marin is better with the ball at his feet, but he doesn't possess the understanding of Ozil (granted few do, but this is a very clear example) and as a result the team was very poor this year.
