I know Del Neri and followed Chievo closely 2 years ago (when they got promoted). I'm pretty confident we're swapping coaches with minimum loss possible.

RUSI: unfortunately the Porto president said it was a very small offer and he declined it? Unfortunately? We want him to stay, so that was very fortunate indeed! :)


Finally, a word to all Portistas (and thanks Paulo for this thread! ;)): what's the point of selling Deco, P. Ferreira, Carvalho if we're going to spend almost the same on already expensive players like Diego and Perrota? What's the gain? At least we already know that Deco and Co. are good in our league and in european competitions, whereas the names we've been hearing as possible aquisitions still have everything to prove outside their countries. If any of them goes wrong it's a truckload of money wasted. Just look at Sporting's example and all the south-american players they bought: Quiroga, Heinze, Tello, etc.

Infesta, Diego and Luis Fabiano are world class players, ive watched them a lot of times and both have played for the senior brazilian NT, i dont think those Sporting south american players were at their level=)

I find it very possible and attractive that Quaresma may join Porto:

and Punkt, those Alenitchev quotes are weird..ive seen his interview after the match against Portugal and he said he belived we were goig to beat Spain, and he said we were very strong!


Oh, and i dont want Perrotta to come..Paredes is way better..ive only seen Perrotta playing this Euro and he didnt convince me, he is slow and nothing special..and he loves watching Big Brother so he's a bad choice:p

Yes, that´s the spirit, we need more great players in our clubs, i would love to see some stras at Benfica, Sporting, Boavista, Guimarães....

If we can bring some stars then it´s easier to bring a few more next season and more people will start to buy season tickets, and the stadiums will be with more full and this would hopefully turn into a cycle that could turn our league one of the greatest in a few seasons.

Just dreaming :rockman:
