We really don't need to buy wingers: Quaresma, C.Peixoto, Ivanildo, Bruno Gama, Vieirinha...they are our future.

the future starts in the present m8
MaSsiVe said:INFESTAAlthough you speak in LB and a Striker, and I actally think that with N.Valente and Leandro we'll be fine (yeah I know you hate Leandro, but I like his game ).
and a striker...what for? We have Postiga, H. Almeida and Lisandro for sure, and it isn't sure that Benni will leave... if another one's needed we always have the B team to go fish on
yagami said:that is a mistake ...
seen in c. alberto , seen in diego , seen in quaresma !
they need to grow up in team tactics .... see the example of deco !
INFESTA said:We need a striker IF Benni leaves. Why? Three reasons:
1- Postiga is good, but he's one of those streaky players, that can be awesome in consecutive games but then spend 3 months without scoring a goal.
2- H. Almeida can be useful in certain situations, but is too one-dimensional and needs the team to adapt to his characteristics (see Portugal's U21).
3- Lisandro... I don't know. He can be another Fabiano or another Crespo. Anyone has a clue about what he'll bring to the table?

My opinion is that there's no better club to grow up tactically than their own.
See Quaresma and Ronaldo and now Moutinho with Sporting, M. Fernandes with Benfica...
We have to give the kids a chance, the club can't be always buying foreigners and look over our "cantera".

Just seen an interview of Adriaanse with the Dutch television:
Interviewer: "Are you planning to take some AZ-players with you to Porto?"
Adriaanse: "That could be. First I'm gonna do an analysis on the team and afterwards I'll see where we need reinforcements. Though it could be that I'm not buying players during the summer."
Somehow that brought a smile to my face

I've seen Diego and he's a class player with lots of potential, has he done well in Portugal?
Quaresma i've also seen a lot of and has huge potential, from what I both hear and see though he seems a bit greedy, any predictions as to where he's gonna end up soon?
Mccarthy is a great player and I even hear Chelsea are in for him, he's done well then?
Seitaridis had a good Euro and seems steady from what i've seen when he's at Porto, a bit liable sometimes but mostly ok, is this the case?
Valente I was really impressed with in Euro and Porto's cup run a couple of seasons ago, how's he doin? Think he could move to a big team one day or isnt he THAT good?
I like Fabiano, I saw him in the copa america a while back and a few times when he played in Brazil, how did he do in his first season with Porto? Will he be there next season.
Carlos Alberto is a player I love to watch, really energetic and skillful and causes lots of problems, how did he do this year and as i ask about the others, will he be there next season? Has he progressed and moved on.
Maniche is a good player, a very good passer with the ball so I saw in last year's CL, and Euro. But on the very odd few occasions i've seen him this year he hasnt looked as sharp, but I hear he's off to MOSCOW of all places, just for money reasons if that's right then , he and Costinha really think it's worth goin there just for money? And will they even be in the CL next year? I havent seen much of Moscow. What's that situation?
So yea if anyone could tell me how any one of those players are doing, im interested to know as I do like all of them and love to watch all kinds of Football, I think it's interesting to see a player and wonder how he's gonna progress and maybe move on.
Like Quaresma, with the right coaching he could/could of been a class player, I hope he definately turns out to be.
So yea, thanks to who ever replys

Finally, if I may call your attention to a new player, Ibson, whom we consider our biggest revelation of the season. I'm sure you'll hear of him plenty.
