Steaua is like a morgue nowadays and that Isokinetic clinique in Bologna is like a Steaua hotel. Truth is, our physios and fitness trainers are pretty crap. I mean look at the injuries since 2004: Oprita (long-term injury, happened again this season), Radoi (100% physio's fault, screwed up the type of injury) and Cristocea (same as Radoi, lighter injury though).


Edit: Poli Timisoara are apparently after CS Otopeni's Cojocneanu, the guy we were chasing some months ago. Though Otopeni's president is denying it, saying that Steaua is the only one interested in him. I really hope we get him.

We won our second friendly 2-0 against FC Sion (2nd in Swiss league). Paraschiv and Croitoru scored. We played in a 4-3-3 now that we don't have Dica which is exactly what I wanted Oli to switch to.

We used it against Jiul at home in the first half of the season and I remember us playing a very good game. I always wondered why they didn't use it more often.

Yeah it's true, you can have him, he's just a tall lanky guy who likes to shoot from outside the box but only gets one on target like 10% of the time. He's completely useless in the buil-up and too slow on the defensive end to matter. I wonder how much we'll get for him.

Around $700k it seems. I'm all for it, he never really impressed and he played little this season. I hope we get to sign a couple of more players, so we can safely secure the #2 spot, do good in UEFA and prepare for next year's CL journey. And please get a left-back!

I really liked Lovin's description by $teaua.
I don't know him very well. He seems to me to be someone that takes more care of his playboy outfit, instead of performing better in his soccer carier.

Theo, why do you claim to enroll a new left back? don't you have enough left backs there? (nesu, marin,/..)

Nesu has been injuried for the past couple of months, Marin is really needed on the right since Saban is still not 100% fit and Stancu is not ready for the first-team yet. Hopefully things will change or we'll really need one.

I disagree with your Stancu comment. He has proven that he can play first team. He had a few mediocre games there to end the first half of the season but imo he's been the best RB we've played all season. I can't stand Marin on the right side, he looks completely lost however on the left he is amazing. Saban sucks, sell him.

I hope Croitorul won't have any problems fitting in because if he does we're gonna be in big trouble in the build-up game (which we already had trouble with). Guys are gonna have to step up big time. I'm crushed

Ochirosii got 30 minutes last night and had an assist . We won 4-2, we've actually won every single friendly so far and we're starting to score more and more goals. The players are liking the 4-3-3 formation.
