My mission is to make FC Zurich known on this forum...I think it'll be very hard but I am not desperate at all !!



This week-end is the Swiss Cup one in Switzerland: Yesterday, Basel, Lausanne-Sport (2nd division), SC Kriens (2nd division), Sion, AC Bellinzona (2nd division) and Grasshopper-Club Zurich went on the next 1/8 of final...Today, a few interesting matchs like Stade Nyonnais (3rd division, my town !!) against Servette Geneva FC (2n division) and FC Zurich vs Concordia Basel (2nd division)...The results 'll come this evening !

Here are the swiss stadiums for the Euro 2008. In Austria, the stadiums are Ernst Happel Stadion in Wien, which wil receive the final, Neu Tivoli Stadion in Innsbrück, Stadion Klagenfurt in Klagenfurt and the Bulls Stadion in Salzburg...Instead of the Ernst Happel, all of these austrian stadiums have a capacity of 26'000-30'000 seats, not more...

Last picts about the new Neuchâtel Xamax FC's stadium, La Maladière:
Capacity: 12'000 places (the town's population is ~40'000...)
Of course, La Maladière won't receive Euro 2008 games but it's a new and pretty stadium...so I decided to show it to you...











The stadium is situated near the Neuchâtel Lake and the Town Center...

You're right Zlatan, and that's an opinion shared by the medias too...We have great young players like Senderos (Arsenal FC), Djourou (Birmingham City FC), Esteban (Stade Rennais), Vonlanthen (Red Bull Salzburg), Lischteiner (Lille OSC), Tranquillo Barnetta and Pirmin Schwegler (Bayer Leverkusen)...but our team has to be self confident now...In the same week, the "Nati" is able to beat easily Austria 3-1 and to lose against the USA 0-1...There's a great potential, that's sure but we can play better and we have problems against teams which have the same or a lower level as ours...We can make a draw against Argentina (1-1), then beat Nederland (2-1) but we can lose stupidly against the USA or Japan...
