FCDB XP v2 is out

GK stands for Generation Kits (I think....)

They allow better textures, goalkeeper kits for teams, specific jersey numbers for teams, and 4GK lets jersey numbers to appear on shorts as well.....all in all - cool stuff.

Fed vs FCDB xp

Chau said that Fed2002 WILL NOT be compatible with the creation centre! because the codes were to hard to crack.

But what about FCDB xp? Are they going to make this possible?

i still cant understand how the program works for WC 2002???
Every time when i start it it show me only fifa 2002

that's easy:

When you open the program, go to Open. then chose your Fifa WC2002 folder, then u go to data\cmn\fe forlder. and chose the fcdb_eng.dbi file ..... and Walla! you can edit WC2002

I made a new team in the creation centre with FCDB xp2, how can I play with that team?? I tried to move it to the REst of The World section, but the game chrashed when I chosed the new team..... does this mean that you can't play teams that are newly made, that we have to change an existing team??

Just wondering if you sorted out your prob with the epl and adding teams. I am having the same problem and if you sorted it, then i would love to know what you did.

I also read in another post that you are able to use both FEd2002 and FCDB XP. I have done most of my editing with FEd and now have just been using FCDB - I now can't use FEd - i get an error when trying to use FEd - "An unknown error occurred while accessing an unnamed file."
Any ideas what that is about?

Talk about back from the dead!

That problem, as far as I knwo still exist, as no editor is able to edit the fixture files. If anybody would give me a start on the format of the file where the fixtures are stored, maybe I can give it a go.

And fleishman:

Your files are most probably corrupted by FCDB (it has a tendancy to do it on mine, when I try to save). Therefore, I mostly use FEd and only use FCDB to search players. You will have to restore your backup most probably.

certainly fcdp xp was great...all the transfers are so damn easy.
whats with the version 2 ?

Check it out at FIFA French Touch. I believe it's in the features section under FCDB. It's been out quite a while now. Are you sure you havent got the version 2 already?
