FDM09 - New horizons for face makers

Maybe it's old news, but I've found the way to change... say... Messi's Hair.

First, I open in CM09 a player whose hair I want Messi to wear. But it has to be a player with special face, whose 3d model can be imported. Because that's what you're going to do.
Now, open FDM09, select messi, and on the Target Head open Raúl's 3d model. Then select "Merge face Model and Textures", and save that 3d model.
Finally, go to CM09 and assign the 3d model to Messi.

For some reason I' sure I'm doing this the "hard/wrong way". It works, but there must be an easier better way. Anyone knows?

You need to have a face texture in the Target head to merge with.


Load also the face texture to merge with in the Initial Texture and click the refresh button on the "Merged Texture"

I don't see any "refresh button" there

Rinaldo, it would be possible to make a program that allows the 3 parts to a face together. That would be the best to transform a model?

FDM is fun... I made a face for Elmander but he has no hair... I can't get any hair on the model (merged a generic model with model #3) so barring any workable ideas, I have a bald-headed Elmander. (Maybe someone could ask him to shave his head...)

Ok - should have read this: "New head button n.3 can be used to merge generic heads but, in this case, hair cannot be added to the target model."

see at the bottom left I can see tools under skin color and facial hair, so on the middle where there are three boxes for texture I can't do anything with bottom texture boxes. ya of course I opened it!!

Start creating a new target head clicking one of the 3 new buttons then check "show textures".

No way. The 3D models are not compatible.

It was designed for 1280 pixel wide screen at minimum. Unfortunately I forgot to put a scroll bar for people with lower resolutions. But you are lucky becaus with 1152*864 you can already see all the elements in the window:
the 3 options are:

• Do not change skin tone
• Use 08 skin tone
• Use 09 skin tone

And the button is "Export to FIFA 09"

Damn! This is unexpected! I have downloaded the released version and the button is not there where it should be though on my local version it is. I have to figure out why it disappeared and I will upload the tool again. Sorry !

OK, Version 1.01 fixed and uploaded again. I hope Filefront works better now but please update your mirrors if you have uploaded a copy. Let me know.

Rinaldo when I choose show texture option, I can edit the first box which is located top but I can't do anything for bottom boxes because I can't see buttons like (import or export) under them. I think somehow we should change the resolution or we should be able to scroll down.
