since EA made again this stupid thing when you change something
in a player, he's stopped to be commantated...

I call Chau Le to please (!!) make for us FEd 2002
I know it's a lot of work, but since nothing really changed from
Fifa 2001, beside some teams numbers and players faces,
it shouldn't be all work from scratch...
even the add commantery is the same...

so, please, start making it...:)

With the whole respect for "ChauLe" I hope that realize the FED2002 within December, last year gone out to April, when all the championships are ended. I think that if him no it has time, it has to entrust another planner, the whole world waits for the FED2002. Eventually for speed it is able to insert the payment method of the Shareware.
Seem me the least one that can do for a program so complex and main point.

The True brings up a good point about commentary. Chau Le wouldn't have to modify much. But, is Fed2002 (or Shed2002- bah) really that important?

I doubt that Chau needs a lenghty email of "me too!" statements to know that everyone is waiting for FEd2002.

Even thought there's been no announcement as far as I know, I remember Chau posting some early information on the teams from the database files that EA sent him, so I'm assuming that he's already at work on it.

Of course I also remember a lot of "how come FEd2001 has so many bugs... it suxs!" statements last year as well... probably from a lot of the same people clamouring for it's release earlier on.

I'd rather let Chau work at his own speed and get it right. True FIFA 2002 is similar to FIFA 2001.. but I know even from my own patch making that there's some issues that still need to be figured out (see Steve Sutton's questions around here a few weeks back.. he's probably got one of the best TV patches going, but even he was asking questions about FIFA 2002 file structures).

I'm sure Chau looks in on the boards from time to time, so badgering him isn't likely to help. Maybe sending a nice postcard to his wife as per the FEd2001 readme file would be a better gesture.

Oh... and if everyone's got the FIFA 2002 file structures figured out, maybe someone can finally tell me how I can edit the .dbi files?! I've been waiting for an answer! :p

Actually Chau is probably busy playing PES. Check out the ISS/PES forum. He is a regular poster there. Chau has done so much for the FIFA series with the FED program. Give the guy a freaking break. He does it when he has time. The guy is a full time programmer. So he has projects that he has to do. Why don't you all bitch to EA and tell them to fix the limmited editing abilities and the team management bugs instead of hoping for FED2002.

v-9 is right, stop bugging Chau Le about fed 2002, go to EA and whine, they're the ones responsible for putting some bad software like this out for sale....

Have you ever thought that Chau might not be making FEd 2002. Things like this have to stop eventually, you can't continuously make them year in year out. He appears content with PES (don't blame him), and soon we might see PESEd (Pro Evolution Soccer Editor) instead of FEd.

did I complain about him or anything??
when everybody trashed him last year, I told them to shut up

i agree with The True, we patchmakers definitely need FEd2002 to make patchmaking way easier.

and don't be :mad:mad:mad: at chau le for making the best program for the fifa series.
