I'm gonna try the new version out tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be better than the original-game!
And anyway, I'm just very happy people that have the knowledge I don't have take the effort trying to improve the game!
Miguel is putting lots of time and effort in this and everybody makes mistakes, so bugs can happen. Fifa2004 has got bugs in tiself and Miguels patches don't cost E 50,00 like the real game does, so don't complain! Just don't download than & you won't take the risk, but will be stuck with the lousy original gameplay!
I do appreciate all the efforts, as we all take advantage of it, for free (okay, it'll cost me 10 cents on telephonecosts). Miguel and the others (mex, etc) don't HAVE to share their tries, I'm happy they do, as it gives me more pleasure in the game & if I don't like a patch, I just reinstall it or the whole game, it's part of the process! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, no one can make a patch that EVERYBODY likes! Some people prefer PES, some Fifa, it's the same with these patches, as it's a matter of TASTE, not of BEING BETTER!!
So, cheers Miguel, Mex and others that can make the things I can't and sharing them with us. Keep up the good work!

Well said, just tried to share my gameplay and its the first time i post one, but being doing em since fifa 2000 for myself and for my bro's

Also you wont see any update to the veterans patch because i will be out for good plus "for me" the gameplay is tweaked the way i like, so sorry for the guys that liked the patch and expecting an update :( ( still would want to reduce fatigue )

Hope you enjoying fifa 2004 , it doesnt matters what patch you use as long as you happy with it.

I am a professional programmer and have some work to finish so you wont see me around anymore, published my patch to share my idea of real football simulation and thats all, not because i did like to get my ass kissed ...

So jamal if you reading this i am sorry dude :rolleyes: really wanted to work on gameplay with you but have to go :( , wish you good luck and dont listen luis miguel, probably when you release the patch he will say that you copied him.

Mex out, really enjoyed being on the fifa scene , bye folks :D

Yeah luis' patch deosn't cost 50.00 but if EA doesn't release FIFA 2004 even if it IS sh*tty and buggy, then luis wouldn't have a game to work on ;)

and...oh...i forgot to tell ya - the great A.S. from Socceraccess is working on a GAMEPLAY RAPTOR for Fifa2004 - based on my patch.

I suggest you, Miguel, fixing the CPU goalies. They are too stupid all the time and they have moves with which they always catch the ball and moves with which they always concede a goal... like keeper diving to any bottom corner always results a goal. And also keeper uses moves which are meant to save a whole different angled shot.

Make human goalie not so stupid too, on breakaways when comp meets my keeper head-to-head, my goalie always tries to slide tackle the attacker or make a save with leg even before the shot is made... that almost always results in a goal!

Don't touch CPU defense exept making them SLIDE tackle more.

Reduce the quantity of cards... EVERY slide tackle (even when player, which legs are hit doesn't fall) reduce in a yellow card or almost the same frequency a red card.

Improve those things so the patch would be kickass!

Yeah, the I find it so hard to score goals on this patch.. goalies seem super human. like they cant save everything that isnt aimed as near as possible to the post and powered to the max- its just irritating having a great passing move spoiled by an unrealistic save- apart from that and perhaps the excessive injury count, i love your patch.. but on the grounds that i cant score with it, im not gonna give it much play

Hello everyone!
I am new to Fifa and this forum. I have D/L luis miguel patch and having a very hard time installing it. Getting errors left and right with eagraph program.

Could someone pleeeeease post a "Detailed" notes on how to install it and have it working properly so all newbies would be forever grateful!! :)

Thanks Sky for the reply. I D/L kasif jamal and its pretty good. Biggest issue I have with it (well 2 issues actually) are:
a) The refree does not exist!! You can make 100 fouls and not a single whisle!! Really annoying and just kills the game.
b) The goalies seem (at least AI goalie) to be superman! They can fly in the air and save shots that physically are impossible to save.

I'd still like to try luis miguel patch. Please anyone be kind enough and show us how to install it since a readme note seems to have been forgotton!
