I´m afraid fusion and Fifa don´t use the same files for gameplay.

Nope, i just made it for Fifa 2004...

To have dribble fun play on "PRO"

- of course uh can score from distance, but it isn't that easy anymore...

This patch is really not working for the brasilian version. It kicks me back to the desktop at the loading part. Maybe it's something with the language settings. After installing the patch, i can just select portuguese from Portugal(very different from the brasilian portuguese) even if i change "por" to "por-br" in locale.ini. Please, help me! I really want to try your patch. Thx anyway.

Luis...you are super!!

I have never tried a user patch before...but the frustration of this game was getting to me so I tried yours. And...I gotta say... it´s a whole new ball game!!
Better AI...much more entertaining and playful AI!
Better shooting. Extremy much better tackling!!
Better dribblings (still to hard, but at least now it can be done sometimes!)
The players now feel more individual. Especially their speed! It feels great to finally being able to run past at least one player with Freddie Ljungberg.


The only thing I changed in your patch was to set the speed back to default position actually.

Now...not everything is sunshine. I install your patch fire up the game...it works, but when I wanna go back and fire it up again there is something wrong with the exefile!! So I have to install your patch again to make the game work.

And also the frame rate is lower with ypur patch...have any idea why it´s so? Perhaps you have enabled some new graphic stuff that my system can´t handle?

But all in all....great gameplay, mate!!

then just don't post here...get out~if you think the original gameplay is good enough, then just get off this thread and go play your original gameplay. make sure you don't lie yourself....if one day you change your mind, you still welcome back to download the patch

luis, great job. your patch is great. i enjoy it now, tackle bugs is fixed, cpu playing is great. i have few opinion for you, may be the next patch you can try this

rules
-when and what situation should give red card or yellow? sometimes just annoy me cpu not getting red card when i have opotunity to score.

weather
-you able to edit it? i not sure, if you able, thats brilliant

cpu dribbling
-cpu using free style? it that can be, how the game will be?

ok im not put this in right way,i just like the ea gameplay and to tell the truth im afraid to install a patch like that,every patch i was installed in the past were ******* my game up
anyway for the opportunity to score that u say its the magic of the game reffere MUST be NOT correct every time(like the real football)
anyway does any body knows how to do freestyle move with gamepad?i cant and i have a 8 button pad and only i can do freestyle moves with the keyboard

The CPU striker did a 360 on me once, it was amazing.

open the file zdata_06.big in your fifa\data and us the "import" funktion from Ea Graph to import AI.CPU .
if you don't find understand the EAgrpah please post it in the forum.

I have never used eagraph before and cant see inport anywhere

I used the inport wizard and got an io error

Não consegui consertar totalmente, mas descobri que o problema esta no config.dat e penso que mais precisamente no locale.ini.
O que eu fiz, deletei o locale.ini e substitui o config.dat pelo original.
Ai o jogo funciona, agora o que eu vou fazer é substituir o locale.ini da patch pelo o original e vou ver se vai dar certo, depois de digo se deu certo ou não.

i think the gameplay was great when i first played fifa. It was certainly 1000 times better than 03 even tho i loved that game. But your patch does add a whole new level of gameplay. Great work! But dont get me wrong, the original gameplay was fantastic too, the patch just increases that, making it the greatest football game on the market!

Yes man! I found this some minutes ago, was going to post for you right now. The problem was in locale.ini. So install the patch normally, then I created a new locale with the following lines:

Now rename config.dat to config.big in the fifa 2004 main folder, opene config.big with "bigGUI"(http://www.greymana.de/temp/fifatools.zip), delete the locale.ini inside of it and now just import the locale.ini created with the lines above for the brasilian version. Rename config.big back to config.dat. I believe you need to delete any locale in the fifa main folder as well.
By the way, it works like a charm, very good patch, thx guys!

I am not saying "USE MY PATCH" - if uh are an arcade player -
cause then Fifa2004 is a perfect game.

to those uh want to see a soccer game rather then a passiing forward and GOAL game with only stupid counterattacks from CPU should take a look on my patch - but of course they may say : "I hate it" ..... THATS LIFE BABY...

but realize one cause of uh man EA Sport gameplay is that bad as it is....
