What makes a footballer a better person than anyone else?

They are just normal people who were born with the ability to perform at the highest level, doesn't mean they deserve life more than joe average.

Shocking news. First thing I thought of when I saw the headline was what happened to Foe, and I hoped that it hadn't happened again. Unfortunately it did.

Although I know nothing of Feher, other than that I had heard his name before, I feel saddened by the news. I suppose we can all relate to football and it's tragic that a young man, who is at the peak of his fitness can just die like that.

Thoughts are with you Benfica and your fans, and also Feher's family.

Tinha prometido a mim próprio não voltar a este forum, mas o que sucedeu ontem em Guimarães fez-me mudar de ideias. Confesso que chorei como uma criança, o que fez-me lembrar a morte de um meu irmão em circunstâncias idênticas e sei como é muito duro perder-se alguém muito querido sem um adeus, sem uma palavra de conforto, desamparado e "só" ...Miki Feher lutou muito desde a sua chegada a Portugal e morreu como um leão ( LION HEART) no campo de batalha onde tinha ajudado, momentos antes, a ganhar mais um desafio. A minha mais sentida homenagem a todos os benfiquistas, a todos os desportistas e, principalmente, a toda a sua familia numa hora tão dramática e angustiante. O nº 29 do SLB deveria ser retirado em homenagem a este valoroso atleta.
