Fergusen fights board for Ronaldo

I would like him to move but not because I care about his antics or any of that crap. Rather, I would like to see ManU lose a youngster of his calibre before he comes anywhere near his prime, and for the sake of his game. He is clearly built around technical skill, finesse and speed. A player with those things in England can flourish if he becomes strong on the ball, but Ronaldo should be strong enough at this point. In Spain, he wouldnt have to worry as much about strength, as the wide open style would give him much more protection. I also worry about the boy's fragile mental state. Recently lost his father, obviously very emotional, and the bedlam of returning to england where he might face death threats might be a bit much to stomach.

If ManUnited get 30+m euros from someone like Madrid or Valencia, this is win-win for everyone involved. With that money they can go out and buy a bigger, more powerful winger like a Joaquin or Ribrey and I doubt they would miss a beat

somethign is wrong with that site on the scolari link that he might stay it says

Portugal’s Brazilian Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has dropped hints about his next destination after today’s match against Germany in Stuttgart

Scolari has to be receiving major offers from other countries right now, I can see Saudi Arabia or something offering him insane amounts of cash. Like I've said before, thanks Scolari, but I'm up for a fresh start...

sorry, off topic. :$

IF united win the epl this season and ronaldo scores 10-15 goals then people will forget everything bout him.

IF he personally wants to leave he can f*ck off.
we should get 25m for him ATLEAST.

IF other fans than United ones hate him, he wont bother as long as he has support from the Unite fans.

IF he gets along with the other players in the preseason then he'll stay

I think everything will unfold in the preseason matches.
other topics including ruud's stay or eparture. Will rossi start for united will also unfold

I couldn't help but feel sorry for him after what van Nistelrooy said to him last year.

Must of missed this, what did Van Horseface say to him last year?

In training, after Ronaldo went down after a foul, Ruud supposedly told Ronaldo "to run to his daddy", to what Ronaldo replied that "my father is dead" and than Ruud said "No, Carlos is your daddy", or something like that.

Pretty much that, as Balla said earlier though, Ronaldo is in a fragile state and anything owuld set him off. Even with something seemingly harmless like that.

he's too good (potential and age wise) to be sold off as a sacrifice for 'team chemistry.' win games, and he'll be reborn as a star. after all, it's the dramatics (including winning) that makes a star a star. but the big question is (as we all like to know), is ronaldo willing to take the hard way over the easy way out?

Well I think he should move to Real if given the chance.

At Manchester United no matter how well he plays he will always be overshadowed by Rooney because of the simple fact that he is not english.

Real Madrid is risky though, that's the kind of club that can make or break your career, especially for a young player like C. Ronaldo.. might be good for him to not be the usual center of attention though.

Rooney is more of a complete player than Ronaldo, but yeah.

Perhaps he wanted to leave United before the World Cup? I'm certain if he does want to leave it will be to better his career, not becuase of a few boo's and a bit of stick in the press.

Vinnie Jones, you read too many tabloids. What do you think people will do, lynch him or something?

The tabloids have moved on to something new and apart from a few boo's around the grounds (nothing new) he will be fine.

Let's get one thing straight with a few people. Ronaldo WANTS to leave, not United trying to force him out. And i don't feel sorry for him not one bit about the crowds abusing and booing him. Yeah, his dad died, but that doesn't mean that he gets a free pass to dive around which during this WC got worse and more blatant. At United if he dived, then he would make sure that it would be hard to notice and especially so that Fergie won't see it, but now it's like his diving level decreased a few notches and he does them more now. Then he goes tell the english media that he wouldn't mind playing for Madrid, but doesn't want to leave United and a while later tells that he wants to leave to the portugese media. Does he think that he won't get that much attention in Madrid? If he has an off game, the crowd will go crazy on him there. Since that's what he wants, then let him be, i'll take 20 million pounds for him anyday.

20 million pounds, is that about 30 million euros? I would say 20-30 mill euros is fine otherwise Joaquin can join. ( I would say that Joaquin would cost 20 mill euros, and I would perfer him over C. R., but both are good options )

20M€ are almost what Manchester United paid when he joined 3 seasons ago. No chance of a fee that low.

Thats about £12 mil yeah? I'm sure thats how much they payed for him. If Man U decide to sell him they must try for something about £8mil higher.
