It was absolutley great game. Very enjoyable ! Viana, Dyer and Bellamy did very well.
Newcastle had many chances to score more. But Feyenoord's second goal was offside. Even through i am not a big Newcastle fan, my nerves were over after the game .
And of course, thanks Juventus for beating Dynamo.

Congrats to Newcastle U for a well deserved win, Feyenoord played like CRAP in the first half and started to play their game way too late!
They should've started with Bombarda as a striker and not with that idiot Lurling but then again.............. who cares cause Ajax is through and again as the only Dutch team.
History showed time and time again that AJAX is the ONLY team who reached the 2nd round in the CL.
It's very simple, Ajax has the best team and must become champions again this year. They have the most gifted players on the pitch. Feyenoord is our archenemy, it's a shame for Dutch football but on the other hand like i said WHO CARES

You got to give it to Newcastle and Sir Robson: they always believed they could go through, despite their 3 initial losses. In fact, they were the first team to qualify to the 2nd round after losing the first 3 matches.
Viana scored, which is always nice, and it was a super exciting match for all us sofa surfers.

actually VIANA was rather poor .. sure he got a vital goal for us ... but Feyenoord's second was hi fault ... and in play he was below par .... well he's still young and has more on days than off

... anyway ... the refeeing was crap ... typical of the CL ... comical at times .. I'm just glad it didn't cost us in the end, and that the game wasn't decided either way because of them !!!

Speed was huga again ... Jenas back tracked well .. Shearer was captain fantastic and Bellamy turned from vilain to hero back into vilain and back into hero .. as he could and maybe should've scored 4.

it's all over now .. and we're through ... I almost had about 3 heart attacks ... but we've done it

I'm obviously over the moon with the result! I've been a newcastle fan for over 7 years now, even tho I'm a londoner through and through, that was the best ever thing that happened to Newcastle since I supported them, I went absolutely crazy when Bellamy scored, no voice left next day at work

Bellamy is one HELL of a player, man! that guy can outrun a ****ing cheetah! I just wish he would a) control his temper and b) try not to run offside so often in the premiership

what a draw in the CL too! I'm gonna go see the Barcelona game if I can get tickets, I think we will have a chance there, Louis Van Gaal gives Barcelona about as much confidence as Guam (world's worst football team or something)

Don't start celebrating yet man cause Barca is still very hard to beat with strikers like Kluivert, Riquelme, Saviola and Luis Enrique.
I don't think that NUFC can beat them but wonders never seize to appear so we'll see

true, but the way that Real Betis destroyed them well.... hopefully with players like Bellers, Dyer, Jenas with that amount of speed combined will cause unrest with Puyol and co.
