FIFA 06 Is Coming for PC - Issue Solved

To answer the question once and for all, EA has informed me that yes, FIFA 06 will definitely be out on PC.

The game you saw at E3 is just for Xbox 360. It is completely different to the FIFA 06 that will be out on PC, PS2, Xbox and NGC. Both different games featuring totally different features.

this means that pc version will be a stripped down version of next gen. They will add somethings to it so it worth the buy but I think Pc version will be bad compared to next gen version, I mean graphics will be terrible in compare.

To bad.

No, actually the current gen version of the game has more features and new stuff than any FIFA ever released.

the FIFA thats being shown for Xbox 360 is just a tech demo, meaning EA was just showing off what it might look like on the next gen. consoles

if you see all the reviews they textually say that is impossible to get those graphics in current pcs.

One more thing... so this means that EA has now 2 departments for fifa ? one for old gen and pc and another for next gen?

the problem with fifa is the graphic engine.they must change it

the best engine has half life 2. i finished that game with GF5200!!!!!and the graphics and fps was great - awesome!!

Make that way hi-end!!! On a side note, i find it kinda troubling that when the news came out that 2 versions were being made, everyone started focusing on the graphics. What about gameplay? Would both versions use the same engine? Or would they make a new 1 for the nex gen consoles? I dont give a damn about the graphics as long as they have the same quality of(hopefully good)gameplay but it would be a real raw deal if its otherwise

XBOX 360 (NEXT GEN)

PS2,XBOX, PSP,PC,DS (Current GEN)

i read that fifa next gen will feature completely dif engine as well as differnt features than the current gen..
dont think of it as the pc is getting a stripped down version its getting the best it can handle...

u say a high end pc could do it.. haah... PS3 alpha kits use the 2 gfx cards from Nvidia.. i dont remember the name but its the best one they have... and its 2 of em and its only alpha.. same w/ 360 more than double...
so pc prob wont handle it for atleast 6months after release possibly a yr

its easily solved by buying a next generation console. not only for this game, but for other games. I was watching some videos of E3, and they showed a London render, and it was beautiful. i cant wait to see what game thats for. i think a PC could handle it, you'd have to be rich to afford the chip (and thick, as u could just get a xbox360), but i think a PC could def handle this with right equipment.

I have an exellent graphics card, so hopefully my comp can take it. I did have a few "flicker screen" problems with 2005 though, due to a wrong version of the card. Thankfully they were fixed.

what card do you have?

in my older computer i upgraded the card to a nice Radeon 9800, with 256 mb, and i recently bought a new one. its pretty nice, the vid card is only an Intel one tho, with only 64 mb of memory... still havent got around to transfering the card, will soon though :D
