speed = fast ; level 1 ; after installing everything works great, after reboot it's all slow-motion... maybe it's some file like situation.ini (my PC is old and can't handle tweaks for resolution).

Awesome patch NK, for some reaosn I have only just come across it since V8.. where have I been? No idea.

Anyway, while I understand it may be difficult to come to a situation where its more realistic/harder to play and therefore more enjoyable, I personally only have two minor issues with regards to my gameplay.

I feel that when 1 on 1 with the keeper, its kinda unrealistic, as the keeper tends to save alot of the shots that would either usually go in or go in in real life due to the nature of 1 on 1. I can hit it with power and keep it low, but the keeper still saves them! Quite annoying sometimes :)

Also, heading is an issue I feel. I always head it over the bar? Am I missing something? Empty net gaping, ball goes over... frustrating, not sure how to combat it! I thought heading was fine in normal FIFA 06. Either the setting is too high or I am poor at this, but I only have to nudge the button to head and its still too powerful.

Anyway, keep up the awesome work and if you could maybe give me little pointers on where to look to tweak the game for my gameplay sake (change the settings on two issues I have) I would be grateful.

sorry for this post...
i have a problem which i dunno arose from where... but i'm sure e only changes i made was:-
1) NK Football v9
2) Best Facepatch update (can't remember the exact name ;p where they haf bout 200+ excellent faces)

now... my prob is tt whenever i win my world cup, after e animations of cup-lifting, my wc 06 will crash 2 desktop...
NK, did u do any edits tt can cause this kinda prob? if yes, i hope u'll find a fix 4 it
but if not... must b fr e face patch tt i extracted & imported into wc 06
wat i did was importing these faces into a completely new zdata, namely 14 & 15.
all worked fine until i win e wc 06, then it'll crash!
hope any1 of u guys can help

The only thing that would crash the world cup game is changing intensity values and installing them through a FIFA 06 installer, which isn't compatible with those files. However, my V9 doesn't include that for the world cup game, so if you installed the fifa 06 gameplay for the world cup and it works some how, then yeah that would crash it.

However, no idea why it crashes, doesn't crash for me.

i installed e wc gameplay version on e wc 06 & i didnt change NEthing in ur v9... so i dun thk it's n issue here

goalkeepers will be harder to beat in the new update than in V8 and V9 with better positioning and reactions. You'll have to be very skilled to score.

i will unveil all on the new update very very soon! The gameplay is much more improved over V9.

There will also be a poll on gameplay elements you want the most and I am also looking for a reliable beta tester!

Dino can you tell me which level you installed the V9 on (1,2 or 3). Also, you seem to be the only one having this problem, I haven't put anything in the update to give the game 'slow-down'. This is strange.

I guess it's due to some graphics enhancements... I had the same problem with Fidel's patch.. I installed level 1..

No wonder I didn't find anything then, since you posted in the FIFA 06 forum and not the 2006 FIFA World Cup forum, and there is a thread for V9 in there. :bob:

I will look through the files for World Cup to see if anything could be slowing it down, but I've read you have the same problem with Fidels. I'll look into it, could be your computer.

There is still a power-bar. The power-bar will be used in headers just like the original, by using either a low cross or from a corner.
