Fifa 06

I decided to post this here because I just wanted some opinions from the everyday "PES Fan".

Will you (PES Fan's) go out and purchase Fifa 2006 if you hear the good news that this edition of Fifa has been done to the best ability?

...Or is it too late to give Fifa another chance?


Oh and one last thing.. are you prepared to purchase and leave PES if this is the key successor to what we, as football fans, have been waiting for?

normal PES response. demos are not a full version of a game so you cant make a judgement from a demo. Play the full version before you say anything. just like how the full version of WE8I for USA has massive graphical tearing all over the place.

I will have to play it first.........And since blockbuster sucks when it comes to renting futbol games it might take a long time............

But yes if it is EQUAL to or BETTER than PES in GAMPEPLAY alone i will mos def cop that........

I'll do what I did for FIFA 05.....went to blockbuster, rented it, and played it for a whole day to see how it was........I didnt like it, so. I was back to WE 7 the next day.....

i can see if the gameplay sucks from the demo, and if it does, why should i even fecking bother spending another 50 of my hard earned bucks on the next messed up try of ea getting a game right?

i can't tell how fifa 06 will be, but i can after i played the demo.like everyone else.

isnn't that what demo's are for, to show an example of the game before you spend your money. If the demo's woulnd't represent the game then they shouldn't release any demo at all

Really. A demo is restricting, you can not accurately judge anything from a demo. Heck if you knew Carlos crap about video games, demo's are normally in the beta and sometimes even alpha stages. NO, YOU CAN NOT JUDGE HOW THE FINAL VERSION WILL BE FROM A DEMO. I have played plenty of demos in my life where even the level for example, from the demo was not even in the full version. I have seen drastic changes in physics engines from demo's to full version. When was I flaming there buddy. Name the example of the flame. Have you ever heard the saying " you can't judge a book by its cover" im sure you and everyone else has. Hmmmm a demo is like just reading the back of the book cover. Might not seem interesting at all. Once opened to the FULL EDITION, you may find you really like it. All I was saying, is to go rent the full game. Im pretty sure that you or maybe one of your friends has a current gen console.

Right, but with Fifa, if the demo is bad, so the full version, because EA is too lazy get thier asses to work, they think with all the license and music, people will forget about their crappy gameplay. Remeber FIFA 2003 PC? You couldn't perform a header if you are standing alone,did FIFA fans complain about this, yes, they complained alot. Did EA notice this? yes, they did, and did EA release a patch to fix this? NO, they didn't. If you play a crappy 2006 demo and still hope for a good final version, you're dead wrong my friend.

Fine, dude !! But the demo of fifa05 in my opinion was exactly the same as the real game itself !!! If Fifa doesnt make a good demo then blame them. I m not gonna waste 50 bucks and discover if Fifa06 is bad or not.

Perhaps rent the game? Forget it!!!!

And believe me Fifa will be if they do not tweak their gameplay. Fifa is near perfect if not for their fu*king gameplay!!!

Some demo's are the same. I wasnt denying that. All I was saying is that you CAN'T ALWAYS use the demo to judge the final version. Will the $5 dollars to rent the game really kill you people. If you don''t have the money to rent the game then WTF are you guys even doing with a PC, XBOX, Gamecube, or PS2.

Calm down, my friend, we don't have 5 dollars to rent FIFA because we've already spent it on "The Girl next door"..oh man, the cover of that movie should be put on WE9 or 2006.
