thanks for the file...and yea that's the line but im not sure why it doesn't really apply to the games ill do some testing and post as soon as i sort this out..

there is another line above that says AIS_EXTRA_TIME_FORMAT = 0 so i tried by changing that to 2 and see what happens.

I dont know, maybe because my fifa 07 is heavily modded but thats supposed to be unrelated. 71kb is too much for a config.dat?

Actually i havent played fifa 07 for a while since i started to convert all my editions and import them into FIFA 10. You should try to make a gameplay like this for fifa 10 as well, because it really needs it. Fifa 07 has the best gameplay of all FIFAs so far, so if you can make FIFA 10 gameplay become like that it would be great.

place the ini.big in C:\Program Files\FIFA 07\data\cmn replace the original one you have.. if you like it.. add to my rep

FIFA 07 Gameplay Patch v1.1

Details....updated foul threshold-more fouls=more injuries
updated defense-smarter defense from CPU, closing down players much quicker..overall better tackling and jostling for air balls. Smart transition from defense to attack without leaving too much space for easy counter attacks..in the event of a counter attack, CPU will try to commit a foul in order to regroup..
updated aggression - this means CPU wants the ball more and will react much quicker under pressure
updated attack- CPU will be much smarter, they actually play to score now rather than hold possession. improved dribbling, CPU will actually take on defenders head on now and beat them with little flashes of brilliance, quick and accurate passes, lobs, through balls, wing to wing cross with the midfielders as you would expect playing key roles here. CPU will now take shots from 30-40 yards out and posing as a constant threat for your defense.
improved GK-GKs will now be much smarter and real to life. no foolish sprinting off the line to close down on-coming attackers unless it is necessary. better looking saves, parries, and handling.
Ball Physics- updated physics, giving a realistic feel when you strike the ball, perform crosses, lobs, passes etc...

in retrospect- players attributes will now play key roles in every single match...so choose your team and playing style wisely.

nope just download v.2, extract the ini file and place the ini.big in C:\Program Files\FIFA 07\data\cmn and thats that.
