FIFA 07 tweaks for Fifa 08

in that folder pick cfg_pc_h or replace the last "h" with the letter you have your game set to - h=high m=medium l=low
i have my game set to high quality so mine is "h"
open the file
under RENDER_RATE_MODE = 7
add the line
PLAYER_MIPMAP_BIAS= -6.0

that sharpens the kits. it should now look like this-
RENDER_RATE_MODE = 7
PLAYER_MIPMAP_BIAS= -6.0

if you look slightly lower you can see the
PLAYER_LOD settings.
select all of them and replace them with this -
PLAYER_LOD_HIGH_NEAR = -1.0
PLAYER_LOD_HIGH_FAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_MED_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_MED_FAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_LOW_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_LOW_FAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_SLOW_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_SLOW_FAR = 0.0
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_HIGH_NEAR = -1.0
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_HIGH_FAR = 0.1
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_MED_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_MED_FAR = 0.1
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_LOW_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_LOW_FAR = 0.0

This makes the players look more detailed from a distance.
Makes the game slightly more enjoyable for me

nope you just have to create a locale.ini in the root folder of the game....
