yes its becose of the demo expander becose i uninstalled fifa08 and reinstalled it and it worked but I wanted to change the graphics again with the demo expander and I got back again the same problem.

Yeah I know its true but I want a better resolution can you change it manually?

Yes you can in one of the Inifiles you have to add a line but I'm still figuring that one out myself so I keep you posted

I redownloaded the demo from a different server and it works great. Must have been a bad demo. Hmmm...

Could you tell us where you downloaded the demo, perhaps we all downoaded a corrupt demo and this new version will work fine.

It has an Locale.ini file included where you can change alot of options and It does not crash the game, Better than the expanders.

This is the locale.ini file you need to change the first line to whatever resolution you need then save it:-

Hope this helps, It has not crashed once and the demo looks really good

PS: you need to install the patch to your fifa08 demo directory and the dont forget to press the build button on the Fat builder at the end of the installation.

Anyone know how I can this demo using 360 controller? I have installed 360 controllers(XBCD) and works with PES6.

I have a Geforce 4 MX440 and i was able to play fifa 07 with no problems, although I noticed the graphics were not quite upto scratch as on the ps2 etc, however were still very good. It is stated that the MX series are not supported for either 07 nor 08. So believe it should still work, I hope i can run the full version of fifa 08 and that this is an error with the demo.

Mx series does not work for Fifa 08 I have tired many times and only gotten the black screen, I even updated my drivers and it made no difference. We can only hope that someone will make a patch that will help us bypass this issue. Untill then all I can say is play fifa 07 or buy a better graphics card.
