Fifa 08 Gameplay Is Sh!t!!

i know i have said it so many times but its so frustrating how bad it is that i have to say it again. Its not possible that my team is 99/99/97 and i can barely score a goal to a 60/60/60 australian team, its just out of any reality. They could make the game harder if they want but by increasing the level of the rivals or the intelligence of the CPU but not by turning your players into STUPID WIMPS. With the same team, players and formation i could trash the same rivals by 12 or 13-0 in 07 because the skills of my players make them efficient and thats realistic, but in 08 no matter how strong your players are and how good you are either, the gameplay makes you everything harder by limiting the efficiency of your players and making them play really BAD. No matter how good your shooting is, its like if the players wanted to kick the ball exactly into the keepers hands always or over the bar like if they wanted to hit a satellite. Its just crazy the way they miss easy chances.

I hope somebody makes a patch or something so we can have the beautiful (tough no perfect) gameplay of fifa 07, otherwise all the nice improvements of fifa 08 will be a complete waste!! please somebody help!!

Play more.. the gameplay is actually a lot better then 07 having played both a lot. It took me awhile to get good at 08 but I play in World Class no problem now. Just keep at it.

Gee, come on dude. I am playing legendary and am already starting to tweak values in the config files to make it even more difficult.

Overall I am playing 10 minute halves and have plenty of 0-0 draws, but also I win and I lose. Its much better gameplay than 07. The results are more realistic, an the AI defense is much better at holding the ball, unlike 07 where it was freaking EASY to take the ball away from the AI.

I am playing Bradford City, and have played well enough to be promoted to div 1. My first season I finished 20th in div 2.

Stop complaining. If you want an arcade game, instead of a challenge, then dont play 08.

Personally i must be in a good position in that I've found playing on world class difficulty with keeper at semi-pro produces some amazingly exciting games, with virtually equal shots by both teams and no god-like saves. I just played an FA Cup match where it took a goal from my player in the 119th minute to win 3-2. Before i was playing on professional difficulty with professional goal keeper and id have 5 times as many shots by no goals, and that as gameplay to me was horrible. But now that i've made it harder to get past defenders but realistic to score goals i'm loving the game

imo the gameplay is pretty good but there are a lot of things which makes the whole game very difficult. I bet if we would look around here, we wouldn't find a guy who is actually worse than the cpu. Just the bias towards the cpu is a too harsh.
Though the gameplay is...we can call it realistic, when the cpu has the ball, it becomes the biggest piece of sh!t that ever existed.You try hard as you can to score only a single goal, the cpu comes forward ONCE and without any difficulties, scores a goal...now that's everything, except realistic.

What i can say, if you see the cpu cheating too much, just exit and restart the game, if it wants to win, do it a fair way.

A forum is a place where people can freely post their opinions to share and discuss with others and everyone must respect that. Do not insult him simply because of his opinion. No one has the right to do that.

I personally agree with Destrones. FIFA 08 has some minor gameplay improvements but since FIFA 07 was too easy EA made this one harder. However, they didn't make it harder by making the gameplay more realistic and better. They made it harder by making the CPU very unfair and by making your team horrible.

I agree with Destrones....but I'm curious to play FIFA 8 on the 360 and PS3...it's a whole different game out there...

Last goal conceded: Kabba survived 2 sliding tackles, the 3rd one sent the ball to some midfielder, and he shot one-touch about 30m from goal, straight to the top corner. Immediately I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and "End Task".

What is it with you people who whine? Really, if you dont make mistakes and defend well, the AI cannot walk through your defense. Its that simple. Strangely, its a little like reality. You know, if a team makes a mistake the opposition might punish them for it. Go figure.

Im sure none of you who say fifa 07 is easy could beat easily one of my created teams in 4 minute halves or scoring 13 goals against a regular team. How do you expect a 2nd division team with a 55 oveall offers you challenge? you are out of your mind.

oh! what do we have here. A moderator who give us a model about good language and manners. How are you supposed to ask me to mind my lenguage if you dont do it yourself?? a moderator is supposed to be a model for everybody and not only abuse their power. Your english is so bad its hard to extract your meaning, but from what I see, IF you are playing a division 2 team against another division 2 team, then the div 2 team SHOULD present a challenge. Otherways FIFA 08 would be worthless.
