well the only thing missing from ETGD is fancy moves and Hybrid 3.1 doesnt have them, so i'll stay with ETGD, i have my MM, i cant start over every two days a MM.

Erevos, when you put differents version of Hybrid having ETGD from the beggining, i must restart my MM (Manager Mode i suppose do you mean) every time for the game recognize the new Hybrid??
I think that happend only if you installed ETGD.

i mean that whenever you put a new version of Hybrid alone or combined, you have to start a new MM, im 95% certain, but you can ask fidel for 100% but i think this is the deal for every mod-patch to work, cant affect previous saves.

Good Job Erevos!!!!Is your ETGD compatible with 3.0.1 of Fidel. And another question (if i can): What version of Fidel should you mix with your ETGD?

you can combine any version of Hybrid you like!

the data0's are just the 1,01 with the default database extracted, thats all, it doesnt have anything to do with graphics, so the settings.lua is doing the graphics issues

Means if I have installed patch 1.01 and after that have already extracted the database (because I use your fixed database in the matrix version so far), then I only have to copy your new database and then it's done, right?

yes, you just replace matrix with EGTD, dont forget the "RESET ALL SQUADS" 2-3 times, 1 maybe is enough but just for sure.

1 Go to your "\FIFA 11\Game" take data7.big data7.bh, and copy them in "FIFA 11 HYBRID Easy Manual Install folder", take my data0.big data0.bh and copy them in "FIFA 11 HYBRID Easy Manual Install folder" too
2 Now run INSTALL HYBRID.bat!
3 Now copy data0.big, data0.bh, data7.big, data7.bh from "FIFA 11 HYBRID Easy Manual Install folder" into the "\FIFA 11\Game"
4 take my db folder and copy it in "\FIFA 11\Game\data"
5 in game do the RESET ALL SQUADS 2-3 times

it wasnt in my schedule... but ETGD will go to v1, ETGD if all things goes well will feature changing of how CPU and your team are defending, the pressure will be mostly on defenders own half, you will be able to build your play to control the rythm like a real football game! v1 will hopefully feature a much wider gameplay, across all over the pitch. The release will be depend by the testers and their feedback!

For so long I had been playing both Fifa 11 and PES 2011, and enjoyed both ... sometimes I preferred Fifa, sometimes PES (depending on my mood). I liked the challenge of PES while Fifa's fluidity and realism mesmerized me.

But now, after using ETGD and Hybrid 3.0.1 together, I can say surely that now Fifa has trounced PES. Its both more enjoyable, more challenging and more everything. Perhaps only Personality Plus is the thing that is left (one thing PES is still leading).

Thanks to both Erevos and Fidel for providing us such experience. To me, personally, making a game tougher is not the ultimate, but making more realistic is the ultimate and desirable. Making a game tough does not mean making it more realistic, but making it more realistic definitely makes a football fan happy. And you two have done JUST THAT.

2.Defence from both, covers more spaces, sometimes to get to goal i have to do strokes of genius plays!

3.I really have to make thinkings plays in a little time, like real soccer. same for CPU.

4.Defence of both teams (mine and legendary cpu) are harder, and apply more pressure.

5. Martin Tyler now says a lot "a strong defence here".

6. You've just invented "Real Soccer" Difficult mode XD


PD: did you improve shooting? i feel that long shots are better now, or is from ETGD V0?

thanks buddy i really appreciate your testing, keep it coming as for shooting, no i didnt change it, but you have more opportunities to shoot now, thats why you have that feeling.

so defence even if its pressure deeper, is strong, good news cause this is the way i want it, like in the reality.

Erevos, i asking myself, if you could to make defence pressing more in the middle of the field, can you make attackers wait more far away when keeper makes a goal kick?

Attackers are to close to goal, when keeper make a goal kick. i think many people don't like that, because you can't make short goal kick with an attacker above the goal. so you have to take long goal kick without iniciate a play from the back of the field.

Im afraid that this isnt controled by anything in the database, the attackers stays high from any previous attack, but if you pass on your defender and the again to GK i think attackers will start to give you space.

Do you think in v1 the start point of pressure is ok there? or it needs to be less deeper? it seems ok to me but two opinions are better

If you see anything else that maybe requires tweaking tell me cause i dont want to create more versions after v1...
