Hi erevos,

Thank you for ETGD, it is simply an amazing piece of work! I play on Legendary MM, and I have to agree with all the comments in this thread so far regarding the CPU's play - more aggressive closing down further up the pitch, better tactical awareness when defending so no easy breakaways, smarter and more varied build-up play.

Anyway, I felt that there are just a couple more areas that, if improved, would really bring the game to the next level of realism. I do not know how much of it can be influenced through just the db stats alone without tweaking the game engine, but thought I'd bring them up for you to consider in your work on ETGD 2.

>> CPU pressing in opponent's half -- When my defender wins the ball back from a CPU striker after a failed counterattack, the striker stops pressing and doesn't try to win the ball back. This gives me time to slowly turn and pick out a fellow defender or pass back to the GK to start my attack again. In real life, the striker would continue to harry the defender and close off the passing lanes to force my defender to clear into the touchline.

>> CPU marking inside its own penalty box -- I feel the CPU marking within the penalty box is still a bit too lax. Oftentimes when I feed the ball to my striker inside the box, he still has time to take one touch, then accelerate away to the side of the defender to create space for the shot. In real life, defenders usually mark the strikers very tightly especially inside the box so it would be quite hard to find time to take multiple touches before getting the shot away.

Once again, thanks for creating ETGD and making every game such a different experience now. Hope you find my feedback useful.

Actually this kind of posts is what i like :) well the truth is that they are always limit in what db edit can alter.

About the first issue, yes i know what you mean and i believe after some pre tests in v2 attackers are pressuring more when they loose ball, of course that differs from players to players, cause v2 will feature realism, changed stats for majority of players that represent the way the players plays in real life.

About the second issue, i have noticed too, generaly the custom tactics changes are change in a massive way how teams attack/defend i will test more and i will try to fix it.

The v2 gameplay will focus in individuality of how all teams are playing as a whole, and the individuality of players, with real stats from the best stats makers.

Premiership, Championship, Ligue 1, Serie A - B, Bundesliga 1 - 2, Eredivisie, Scotish League, Danish League, and many many players from the other leagues will have reality attributes!

I will tell you again now;
This problem has only Turkey Super League.
If i selecting from Turkey League a team then it's starting from 2011 year.
So it's a calendar issue.
That's i opened new manager mode with Fenerbahçe and;

Can you fix on the next release ETGD?İs it possible?

personally i dont know how to fix it, but i will ask a friend if he can. is just an asthetic problem if i 've understand correctly.

do any of these gameplay patch versions make the cpu take more long shots ?,
because they seem pretty non existent to me, they seem to want to walk the ball in the net all the time

you could have changed one or two words to the copy/pate question to fit right :P

yes in ETGD v1 cpu shots a lot more.

the game is improoved very much and very entertaining.

3 questions

1- is there any posibility to patch the time and weather either to be more real or to have the opportunity to change it before games like PS3?
2- do I really need to install HYBRID patch to get more of the game? I am afraid it might ruin your patch especially I did not like the game play on PS3. PC version is better and with your patch it is the best football game ever.
3- I forgot to reset all squads and started MM, after one match I did reset all squads 3 times then continuoued MM, is that ok?

one final suggestion,
the most annoying thing in fifa is that AI alwayes plays attacking game even if he leads by 3 goals and that is true for all teams. in real football some time team needs to posses the ball longer time and wait for chance to attack. even pass the ball back to deffenders and GK (like MAN UTD style) unfortunatly AI always rush forward without keeping the ball in hand and never passes ball back even if I apply high pressure on ball holder. I hope you can fix this in future.

now about your questions.

1. nope...

2. as im saying in 1st post ETGDv1 is a standalone gameplay patch, and personally i use it alone, the combination ith other patches its up to anyone, i recomend using v1 alone.

3. unfortunately you have to start a new MM after the RESET ALL SQUADS.

as for the suggestion i dont think its possible to make them return the ball to keeper, but i can make them to play more passive after a 3-0 4-0 score.

Hi mate, i think the injuries in default fifa are very frequent so i havent search to change it...
