Could you plz let know which parameter affects accuracy of shooting if you know? I noticed scoring increased too in my last post when I said cpu attack has become stronger. I think I could try to find more balanced value and share it here. Now I am totally intrigued by the fact that some strings actually work. The question now is what does what and what works and what does not. thanks.

I'v installed your gameplay patch, together with Regulcat's, and I'm amazed in how good it is!! The cpu is very hard to beat now.

But there a just a few things that, in my opinion, can be better.
-First game I played, Arsenal - Barca(CPU), I've won the game with 8-3.
Every shot from a distance I made was a goal, and even Barca was able to score 3 times in the first half, even when a defender was sent of after 15 minutes.
-The game speed is a little bit to fast. Maybe that is a reason too why my first game ended in such a high score. I play with game speed at slow
The second game was a lot more realistic, same match, only now I lost 0-3. I wasn't able to shoot from a distance, cause barca's defence was realy good!.
So if you can adjust the game speed, and make long shots a little more inaccurate, than this patch is PERFECT!

According to this and the pm I got you like discovered some super huge secret everyone is going to want to know. Kinda doubt. May be start charging money now. Yesterday offers me to collaborate and share today he is saying this. Big BS. These modders are pathetic kids with blown up ego. They don't want to share for free they want feel self important in return (this is generally fine though , who cares). imo. I guess I cannot expect them to share I have to continue figuring out myself instead of begging over here and annoy teenagers.

Your db is not rocket science at all and the easiest way to tweak fifa. It is pretty elementary for those who know how to unpack db export/import tables , have basic math abilities and excel in their hands. I can create bazzilions of reasonably set dbs if I wanted to. I have my own right here, tweaked for my taste. I admit that you might have done a good job sharing your work, I never denied that. So no need to cry that you do not get enough credits. People constantly praise you everywhere. Do you say thank you to every post ?
Now for those who know how to unpack data0.big and want to adjust shot accuracy. In the 4.0 there is product.ini file and it has the following strings inside presumably affecting accuracy.
CPUSHOT_MAXVARIANCE = 43.0
HUMANSHOT_MAXVARIANCE = 100.0
USERSHOT_MAXVARIANCE = 100.0
CPU_LONGSHOTSACCURACY = 100
CPU_LONGSHOTS_PERCENT = 50
I do not know if they work YET (looks so according to posts and my expericne with 4.0), but I thought regularcat or fidel might know for sure since they likely tried changing them. I know many people do not mess around with settings themselves, but I am sure there are quite a few who can set it up themselves. These guys (fidel, regcat) keep everything trade secret. I am disappointed, I am hoping someone else intercepts fidels idea to port from PS3, but unlike him would share details and current understanding instead of constant bragging about unimaginable advances.
