Thanks to everyone for awesome comments..much appreciated!!!

I read only many positive comments, and so I suppose that HG 4.8 is really "Another Planet".......now the gameplay is really different end enjoyable!!!

Now comes the desire to play, because every game can give magic emotions!!

For the entire fifa world community: in many aspects, the console gameplay has been exceeded (FIFA 11 + HG 4.8).

..is possible to edit/fix: fieldpositionboundingboxes table on DB!! and this is the way to fix this issue?

for fix this issue that gibanica says on his feedback?
if you want extract and check the fieldpositionboundingboxes.txt from console DB, I have seen and is different compared to Fifa 11 PC db, not for all value!!
...also i think that this problem is it also presents on console version!!

EDIT: or the problem is the offset/position on formations.txt db table??

I installed the 4.8 over the last release, rebuild all with the regenerator as always and then ... I have no people in the stadium! there's the crowd's sounds but not the people! :_( should I reinstall EVERYTHING or is it fixable somehow!?

edit: also crappy graphic :/

values in the 2 dbs are different, i think the console pitch is a bit larger.
you can edit the boundingboxes.

hello fidel,

i have great problems with 4.8. i have install your patch like you say it to us. date 0 and 7 "refresh" from orginal cd incl. 1.01, then install 4.8, 2 times regenerade. but when i want to play, 5 seconds after kick off, i come back to desktop. any ideas?

Maybe your game settings were changed. Try to see in "fifaconfig" that your settings are set on high. If that's not problem then install clean FIFA, patch it with 1.01 and apply HG.

For me is the Gameplay to easy.
i has won on Legendary with R.Madrid vs Valencia 6-2 and my goalkeeper seems very bad at every shot of the computer. The Gameplay is much more smoother yes but the most thin i like that the "Goalkeepers" are on the same Level you know?

I mean how can Iker Casillias not hold the Cpu shots on his goal , sometimes looks my Keeper like a 3 year old baby when the Cpu comes in front of his Goal....

In the Gameplay version 4.2 The Gameplay was nearly Perfect with awesome Goalkeepers on booth Sides ,now its ugly to watch the Replays

Heres my review:
1. Game is smooth. Very nice feeling controlling players due to smoothness of it.
2. Some new actions in players are very nice to view. Players do dribble with more technique.
3. Every match feels different.
4. Problem is the game speed. The difficulty level is somewhat less. If I play to my full ability I score 5 goals minimum in the first half be it Real Madrid or Barcelona.

when you deleted the folder uninstalled fifa 11? To avoid conflict with the i68 regenerator (if you had other patches before).
PD: Make sure the *.Big files no set "read only"

Also, what graphic card do you have and what OS? There are a lot of people having the same problem and they all have ATI Radeon graphic card, but they managed to solved it through Catalyst Control Center and turning 3D options... Also, try to download latest driver for your graphic card, or just google "FIFA 11 no crowd and shirt names" and try to find solution...

Fidel, I think that AI dribling is in 90% ineffective, they can rarely trick defenders with dribling and go pass them, if you manage to raise effectivity of AI dribling it would increase gameplay and it would be tougher. I think that scores where you win Barca, Real, Man. Utd. by 5 or 6 goals in legendary is all but not legendary difficulty...

yeah I deleted everything! I got an ATI 5730 :P
*.bh and *.big files are NOT read-only! no one!

Hey Fidel , its awesome update i liked it so much better shooting , smoother etc..
but there's 1 thing that the previous update 4.7 was more dynamic than this
i know it when i run with a player in space in many directions

please make optional update and put the dynamic movements ofthe players from 4.7 to 4.8 for people like me who likes more dribbles and better responses
and it will be the best patch ever came , atleast for me

FIXED! I still don't know why updating the 4.7 created all that mess but after a clean installation, after removed every read-only in the original fifa's files and patch now everything works

now that I could fully experience the 4.8 I can say that in 4.7 was more easy to control players but the ballìs physic is better in this last release
