FIFA 13 DB Files ?

hello guys, could someone give me a tutorial or just teach me how to get the db files from FIFA 13 ? i need them so i can change the net depth using DBM 12

also please , i don't have a SINGLE IDEA on how the modding in FIFA 12/13 work so yeah , bare with me

this is how I would do it, there might be better ways as I'm also a novice:

1. install file master 12
2. install registry fix so file master 12 works
3. open data0.big in fm12
4. extract database files
5. put database files into /fifa 13/game/data/db/
6. regenerate using iard or bernd's tools
7. install database master 12
8. open the db with dbm12 and do your database edits
9.??????
10. PROFIT!!!!

browse to data0.big from the tree on the left, click data0.big & on the right the files inside the big will show.

find these files & export them.

fifa_ng_db.xml & fifa_ng_db.db & put the exported folder in the data folder.

alright done and dont , i also regenerated the BH files

sadly when i open the db files using DBM 12 , the changes i made in FIFA 12 remained in FIFA 13 db files ???

and the actual changes (for exemple goal net depth) are not present in the game

Is this a typo? You shouldn't be touching any of the FIFA 12 files, they have nothing to do with editing the FIFA 13 db.

you got me wrong , this is WAY long before FIFA 13 was even out , i changed the db files of FIFA 12 , and NOW when i was going to change FIFA 13's files , i found out that the changes i made back in FIFA12's db files were in this FIFA's db files (i only changed the goal net depth)

also in PM you said to delete old Squad files , where do i find those ?

I guys I'm a newbie in FIFA forum's; I've followed the procedure and everything seems fine.

Problems is game will always load default database....not my edited one.

I've regenerated without any issue.....and if (for just test) I try to delete extracted&edited /data/db/ files games won't boot...this means that it search for those files outside of data0.big

Any help?

SgtMaadadi and maumau78: you have to delete your squad files (updated from the web, made weekly by EA) so FIFA will read your database:
it's in cusers\username\documents\fifa13
or, when you start the game, go to reset squads (it's in the customize menu).

Is it possible not to have those "squad" files? Also I suppose that since I installed DB manager I should apply all the DB changes here and not use FIFA 13 editor anymore. Am I right?

Squad files are generated automaticallly, just delete them. And use DBM 12 to make all your edits. Edits you make using the in-game editor don't affect the db, they only affect the squad save files.

Just in case, you shouldn't make any changes in team line ups, stadium names, formations etc. in the game. These things are saved in the Squad file (this is why you need it eventually), so when you delete it, your custom assignments are gone and you have to do everything again (so you should wait until you have finished editing the database before doing those things. Learned it the hard way, haha).

What do you need them for, just edit the player's age/nationality in the players table.

It wouldn't let extract the files fifa_ng_db.xml & fifa_ng_db.db that I need. IDK what to do.

I have win7 64

I was looking for a link where they have those two files extracted but i cant file anything.
I cant find anyway to get access to those files
