FIFA 13 Decompress Big Files

We get this files from RAM and not decrypting the big files. Sometimes you have find other ways to mod a game different from the conventional ones. While we wait big files decryption, even if we never find a way to do it, this is a door open to mod FIFA 13 :D

As you know, I am able to develop, efficiently, many things in the environment. Net (VB 10), but unfortunately I do not have enough knowledge to decode or decompress new file formats individually.

I think a really great contribution to the community would be if you (or anyone else is able to do so) can create a simple dll (. Net compatible) with two functions that allow the import/export of the database to the .net dataset object. In this way, a much larger number of people (maybe in possession of other knowledge and good ideas) could work with and develop large and small tools, each capable of treating a different aspect of the game with great mutual benefit.

It is clear that I shall never fail to include in all my programs logos, references and anything else you think might be useful in recognizing the proper credit to your precious work.

This type of collaboration has made possible the development of i68Regenerator (born from my idea, but I could not have done without aid), and in the past, Kitmanager and LogoManager (thanks to the Rinaldo's library and his permission to use it) and many others, that have never been published for the great difficulties that are encountered during the debugging of software that can serve all...

The same could be done by those who will can decode files with the extension. Big. The same is still possible thanks to the work of Rinaldo for files. RX3 ect... In fact, all together, we could think of a common library and commonly used!

This is a really good work!

That's is exacltly what I need for making a new regenerator!
Please send to me a .txt file for each .big file in the game and some editing will be possible quickly!

i updated the demo through origin but the game crashes after i enter the team selection
why does that happen ?
i tried alt + Tab thing..but it doesnt work..again game exits...!!

@iard68: I thought of that and wanted to do something like that for FIFA 11. But it's not as easy with the fifa db. If I decode the db into an .net dataset object, it would loose many information which are needed for saving the db (for example crc positions and meta data). So I programmed an interface for it, with some needed functions. But the main problem is, that I haven't enough time to develop new tools and dlls because I have a lot of work. So it's improbable, that I will release a interface for FIFA 13 DB. Since FIFA 11 I didn't develop any new tool, just made my old tools work with new FIFA versions. I'm sorry.

But I have some good news: I found my old FHL-DB-Editor and made it work with FIFA 13. But I don't know if it can safe all values correctly. I tried with names and transfers, and it worked. But exporting db to files or backwards isn't included. And the tool can only open the main database. Opening the language dbs it will crash I think.

Eh... yes I know! The lack of free time is the problem that restricts freedom and, sometimes, the happiness of each of us in engaging in what we like...
and, of course, there are things much more important than a beautiful game!

You can use DBM12 open it.

you converted-from-xbox db works also after editing it via dbm12?

Uhm...

myfifa2005 xbox db seems to be loaded and saved in the correct way by DM12, but it crashes the game...

dunno what changes

Not a problem to open. I've already managed db files
shared by moddingway (if Im right with my memory!).
I use the Rinaldo's library, and problem seems to be the re-write
procedure.

Because I have not had time and opportunity to remove the db references from the data0.bh, and then upload my edits in the game, I can only hope that those who have already done some tests may be mistaken... unfortunately it's only a little hope!

There are some of us who have the time but not the knowledges, so plz make some FIFA Modding Wiki, or just post links for tutorials and books that may introduce us in the analysis and development of new tools and so.
