What we badly need is a list of big files (so to delete references) and a tool to edit db, the rest will come with less effort, even without decompressing big files :)

If Rinaldo doesn't come back, I will release my FHL-DB-Editor. It's ready and I hope it hasn't too many bugs.
I think moddingway can do the Big-File-List :)
But would be nice to get the decompression, I will work on it to in the next week.

I thing it's not a problem of decompression but cryptographic algorithm with the ca.dll...:mad:

:innocent_smile_1: Yes the problem is that it seems only those two big files are loaded completely. Other big files are just read by parts so I can get the files but not the big structure.

you guys (moddingway, Bernd, Outsider, ludo, iard) are realy heroes if you manage to figure out this "big-files mistery" till the end. I am hopefully waiting for Bernd's FHL-DB-Editor wich I heard is ready, that would mean a great base to start from in modding FIFA 13. I am waiting for some data3.big news, where the kits are, because, as a kit-editor i can't wait to start making and importing kits to FIFA 13.

:mad: unfortunately they were not mistaken!

I've removed db references from data0.bh (those who want to try,
look for the following hashes and set them to zero...)

Opened database with Rinaldo library.
Saved without any changes... CRASH!

Tried something other, always CRASH!!! :nape:

For the moment, I can not help...


HASHES CODES for deleting db references from data0.bh
and playing with the files stored into db folder:

fifa_ng_db.db 4A B9 E1 26 D4 4E 97 46
fifa_ng_db-meta.xml 4D DA 80 C4 D3 60 2D 25

replace every byte with 00

You just need to do it with fifa_ng_db.db. The xml file won't be changed so you need it only to open it with the tools.

Maybe, just maybe, they won't be compression in the final game, that this is just a method to reduce the size of the demo.

i updated the demo through origin but the game crashes after i enter the team selection
why does that happen ?
