FIFA 13 Demo Freezes

Hi all.

well, i am a long PES player, but since downloading FIFA 13 demo on my PC, Ive decided to switch to FIFA again after 5-6 years and Im loving the game.

However I have this strangle problem.

Sometimes when I am playing a match, the game just freezes and the PC won't work. cant minimize, close or do anything. in fact even the keyboard freezes, can't do anything, and than I have to shut down my computer in a harmful way, by plugging the cable out and than plugging it in again to restart the computer.
After I restart everything works well, there no Error reports or anything like that.

I would just like to know if I am the only one having this problem, and if this can be solved in some way, or maybe will not happen in the full game.

it's a graphic card problem, or your computer is not powerfull enough or is outdated

I think it should mostly be a graphic card problem.

my graphic card is

NVIDIA Geforce 210, 1GB

Ive read that this card is not very good about gaming stuff and so.

Right now I cant handle to change to a better one, so I guess I will have to play PES for another year (I also experience problems in PES too with certain stadiums, the game stops working on certain stadiums, but Ive found some that nevercause problems. Damn it. )

why switch, for once pes looks good & i might make the switch to pes over boring old recycled fifa 13.

looks to me like pes has balance & fifa is all arcade attacking w/ the worst defense i may have ever seen in a footy game.

I think you're having a strong case of what I call the scoreboard syndrome.

Oh I really love PEA and all but after playing it for some years now I think it has become somewhat of a boring game and I really need a change. I t think FIFA gives me just that exactly.

I guess I won't playing neither with this current graphic card though.

I have freezes and shuttering in demo too... however I didn't experience such issues in FIFA 12 despite having highest LOD and a lot of mods installed.
So I don't think this is causeb by my PC specs.

I think you're having a strong case of what I call the scoreboard syndrome.

I think he's right. If you let the first impression down you will see that defenders in FIFA are plain stupid and the AI attack it's unique sience 11: lateral break-short pass-goal. So, there is nothing new under the sun. The differences between 12 and 13 are not "one year of work". There are few tweaks that give the game a new look.
Anyway, PES? No way.

FIFA 13 is at medium settings and all super

I run the game on high settings and it runs perfectly smooth, but than BOOM. It just freezes and than I cant do nothing at all.

Tried with medium settings and the same happened again. Now that I know the Graphic card is good enough, I'll have to see what can i do with the drivers and so, or even installing a new windows, maybe windows Vista or Windows 7. i currently have XP.

I had the exact same issue with one game last year -- ran perfectly, but would then freeze my PC in the middle of any game I tried to play. Updated my graphics card and it (mostly) fixed the issue. Some Nvidia Geforce GT cards have issues with certain games, Goggle it and you'll see a lot of people with the same problems.

Thanks. I've tried searching and seeking for help in a lot of forums.

Hopefully I will come to solve this problem soon.

By the way, my drivers are the latest version so there's something different that is causing the problems.
