great new but a remember that EA is used this tech DI3D since 2009 in all his sports games just there are get it the last version of that one.
-Electronic Arts has adopted the new version of Dimensional Imaging's DI3D technology for use on future iterations of the FIFA games.
EA will use the 6.3.3 iteration of DI3D to capture accurate 3D facial likenesses of athletes and performers for the game. The giant of publishing and development has been using previous versions of the DI3D software since 2009.- source
for me FIFA need a huge graphic surgery i mean improve the lights, shadows, textures of stadiums, pitch and kits. if only they could integrate or developed something similar to the new Frostbite engine (Battelfield series). the likenesses would make a big step to realism. DICE should joined to EA sports Canada for make the FIFA14 a dream!
just look PES & NBA2k series have really nice graphics, why FIFA can't get the same treatment?

so true man!! PES has so good graphics that it actually feels like you are watching a live match...but despite FIFA having better faces and gameplay their kits,stadiums,pitch,player model details etc look very animated and unrealistic...its high time FIFA improve their graphics man...
P.S. and now that PES are introducing an all new player engine (just look at cristiano ronaldo move in the debut trailer) they are going to give FIFA a run for their money

these are probably old pictures...i think EA will update the faces of players who are superstars right now...i agree with khanh...EA should update faces for mikel arteta,steven gerrard,scott parker etc...
also they should make faces for the new players that have been transferred to the teams they have already made 3d faces for...such as david luiz,papiss cisse,demba ba,gary cahill,oxlade-chambelain,juan mata,andre santos,mikel arteta etc
I think EA make great player based on potential players or players that are well known and the often main rock. I predict that these names Suarez' ,Cisse',J.Pastore,D.Luiz,G.Bale and longer list...., will be updated face and a number of clubs such as Newcastle,Manchester City, face is made or the club at tournament Lige1,Bundesliga EA will be continuously updated faces.
