FIFA 14 Better Career Patch

I don't think they are defined anymore, I can't find them in the fifa14.exe. Are they in an older exe file?

I think it is stored in scout.ini file, will check at home.
I don't think .exe must store all of the values, enough is to call proper file/function etc...

I've tested V3.5 for me it's pretty good, I didn't try the youth academy (not my playstyle on the beginning) but the rest seems ok

Hum on the other side there is something wrong with highlights of the week and online squads, when I remove the online block in rna.ini, I can't access to this part of the game and receive this error message : "Matchday squads could not be applied. Please try again later"
When I uninstall the mod it's work fine...Does this have something to do with your patched DB ?
Sorry, I like challenges 700-1000 free exp aren't negligible :P

Sorry, because it's a patched database it isn't compatible with the online database (of EA). To play online again, you need to the default database and not the patched one.

A simple solution:
- Go the FIFA 14\Game\data\
- Rename db to db-patched
- Regenerate
- Play Online

Please tell me what database you using? The patched version?

-Although I have debug and easy job hunt activated in the .ini settings, how do you actually use it? I don't even know how to turn it on if there's a button command or anything like that

-Is it possible to alter the may update to a different date? Is it possible to have more than one may update like a may update every month or so?


One little bit of feedback, increasing the maximum amount of youth academy players causes your newly signed youth players to disappear as if they were never part of the youth academy. The youth academy still only holds 16 players maximum.

- When entering your Career Mode, there is a Job section. You don't get any message anymore for some reason when receiving offers, you need to check this for yourself.
- What do you mean with the may update? On what thing has this effect? Transfer, growth, etc.

Thanks for the feedback! I think they are still there, but there are only 16 displayed in the ui. Will take a look, but from what I understand it didn't crashed?

I only know that players who are free agents at the start of the season automatically join a club right at the beginning. At least the good ones do so. No idea if you can turn it off.

With previous version of his files it did not happen, maybe just few top player ware already taken, but here, any above 70 already are in some club, any fix for this?!

unfortunately this settings dont exist anymore

still exists and values are the same, I'm at work at the moment so can't check which file contains it.

No crashes here (season 3 >), what team are playing with? What season? What version are you using?
Anyway, there is an uninstaller, just go to your Control Panel, Add/Remove programs ..

I tried this, and there is something funny/wrong happening, i tried it on =100 and it did made a few players more in free agents, then i re tried it an it bump a different number of free agents in some positions, then i tried it on 150 i also got different numbers, sometimes i get numbers per position like when i set =25, somethime i get different number, i tried it also with 150 and 200 and same thing happens, sometime it bumps free agents number per position like when that setting is =25 (default) and on a restart of career it bump's out different number and so on, like its random, but it never bump out all free agents that are in DB!?

EDIT: I also tried it with 0, but same thing happens, every time its random number fre agents per position, but never all from DB!?

(At the starting of your career there's more players in this category, think about players that are in national teams and aren't linked in club teams because those clubs aren't in fifa game)

Not working, still random numbers in free agents, what i need to do to have all players from "Free agents" in my DB after start of carrer?!
Im thinkning that some other file also afects this, since there is no player with overall higher than 70 in free agents, al that have overall over 70 when i start carrer they already are in some club!?

EDIT: Something strange is happening, when i go ingame and go to transfer players ingame, the best player are not in "Free agents", they are already in some club's, but in DB they are in "free agents", how does this happen's?!
