FIFA 14 Better Career Patch

I still find player growth to be a bit too high for your team and cpu teams. And there are still some young players who grow way too much in a season, eg. Pogba 81 - 87 and Varane 81 - 86 in first season. Is there any way to tweak these values myself? Also, is there anyway to fix the problem where you draw/lose most of your away games even when playing against really shit teams?

i am using moddingway db but in moddingway db lewnadowski doesn't have a pre contract with bayern munich how can i make him have a pre contact with modddingway db what tool do i need ???

to see if the problem occurs you should check arsenal teams they always have a player without a name
also for the problem to occur you need to open cm14 and then change any player overall save and close it and the problem should occur

Are you using cracked version of FIFA 14? If so this problem will occur,If not I have no idea.

You said you're using moddingway then you're also using beta's DB?

i used to use beta database before the problem started appearing then i started using moddingway db but it sucked it didn't have the pre contracts like lewandowski ...
can you download my database and see if the problem occurs and if yes you need to change any player overall and save and check arsenal team cause i really want to start a career :P

Hi,
first of all I have to apologize for my English, hope you will understand me.
I have instaled 3.9 final version and found some bugs.
1. Game always starts in English when I set Czech as game language, also, when I leave lenguage selection option, first is English, not Czech as it is without you patch. I wanna play in Czech but with fast start it starts in English or I have to move stick to Czech.
2. In career mode, I started season and the biggest trasfer was young player for 1 500 000 euros. No other good or top players movement. In winter, all teams in my league spend 80!!!! euros on transfers witch is stupid. Biggest transfer was for 3 300 000 euros.
3. Also, in matches, radar dissapired and it shows names only for one team.
4. Game play is good but, as said before, there are too many great slide tackles from the oponent.

I did't change anything in default settings, just language as said.

1. See runaway42 comment. Make sure these two are changed:

2. Do you mean the last transfer window day? It's a bit confused, but the total transfer-marked spend, is not a total sum of the transfer window. It's only for the last 8 hours!
3. Thanks for the report. Known bug, will try to fix this in 4.0.

about the gameplay. Did you exclude it? So I can select whether or not I want to install that. Because for me now the gameplay is awesome! I mixed paul's gameplay mod with yours and just create a balance match FOR ME.

If you select No Gameplay Patch on the Installer, it will not touch your rna.ini file. But it's always recommended to make a backup first of the files you surely want to keep!

About Paul's gameplay patch, I will surely take a look at his code, because I know he is a great gameplay modder.

Is there a way to limit the max overall of a player out of the youth academy or increase the rarity of really high overall players. I've had numerous players come out of the youth academy that were between 77 and 80 overall which makes the game a little less fun. It removes the trial of bringing them up from their non first team player in that 60-70 overall level to their potential.

Also is there a way to make sure a job offer will be accepted when applying for other managerial jobs, I keep getting turned down.

About the youth squad: check a few post back, there are solution giving. If not, let me know and I will re-post them.

- Yep, look at the playergrowth.ini file. Most properly you want to tweak the last lines.
- Yep, known problem. No fix yet, but this is something I'm (still) busy to fix. For some reason is playing away in FIFA = lose.

@all, todo list for 4.0:
- Improve tackling (CPU)
- Decrease GK-skills a bit (CPU), increase user GK-skills < sliders
- Better sim. results
- Fix problem with only one side indicator visible (only own team)
- Add more pre-contracts players

What else would you guys would like to see (what is not listed)?

1. I changed both and game still started in English, that's the reason I was reporting it. If I desabled fast start I can change to czech in game, but first opsion is English now.
2. I mean whole transfer windows in summer and winter! Just a few small (as said 1,5 M and 3,3 M euros was biggest transfers for whole period!) transfers. I like that for example Suarez doesn't change club every summer like it used to be, but now it's just rediculous.

1. I don't think you selected the correct language string, it should be: cze,cz
See locale.ini examples on the FIFA 14 BCP folder.
2. Really weird?! What database are you using? I'm still having big moves, like Silva, Navas, Martinez, etc.

Actually the same thing happened to him. The first transfer deadline day only below 10 mil.

2. I am using Moddingway patch 2.2.0 database, no changes and checked Gameplay Patch Offline, Database patch and Revolution Mod 1.3. I guess Database patch messed up with Moddingway so there are no new extra teams but I am not shure if it makes your patches weard too.

You can't install beta's database if you're using moddingway database.

I use fileloader and that's where I install beta's mod haven't tried installing the DB yet.

Changes so far:
- Added Vidic on pre-contract with Inter
- Lot's of clean-ups/fixes to files
- Improved Installer
- Gameplay completely changed. A lot harder, removed/enabled/tweaked some values to improve gameplay
- Fixed missing indicator CPU
- Added UCL-scoreboards/popups by 2208binho

This version is not compatible with your current database!
Features may be changed in the next few (testing) versions.

Please let me know your feedback.

PS. It would be great if you guys could tell me if you like the new gameplay changes and if tackling by CPU is better now.

just played couple matches and they were amazing for me cpu tackles are better and i am using paulv2k4 settings
and where did you get the bar where players names appear because some players who have long names half of their names appear

hey guys i just downloaded the latest version and i have a question about the cm. at the beginning where u type in the character name and nation etc, there is a point to use standart teams or download actual ones. what do i have to use there if i want to use the mod?
