Do I have to start a new Career Mode every time an update comes out to have the changes?

I realise you just answered but I wanted a bit more clarification on how career saves work because it seems a little conflicting so here goes:

When I start a new career IE "Generate" a new career and make that first save, that will guarantee to have all edits "pulled into" the save for the career which I understand.

But ...

If you then introduce changes to ini's say 2 months into a career (for example) do those ini changes get cycled/pulled into the career and picked up as you progress into calendar?

Or .. is a career/save a one shot "snapshot" of settings from initial generation and is then closed off to ini's after that?

IE if I have energy regen setting on start, then change values later, will I see those values/results in my game as I progress or is it locked to the initial save values on career generation/first save?

Sorry to ask a schoolboy question but I just never fully understood that part. Im alwyas reluctant to start a serious full manager career due to updates, but Im wondering if im waiting for nothing.

Short feedback to your latest release.

-Fitness is better (but meanwhile i use my own settings)
- Less negative growth, which is very nice !
- On the other side way too much positive growth for young players. Some players grow 3 points in overall, before even playing first game in season. Maybe would work better with 1.0 instead of 1.125.
- Couldnt focus in retirement so far, but it would be perfect if most players retire at the age of 33-37

Maybe you can also explain me how the Min_League_Budget for teambudets works in cmsettings.ini

can you change the age of free transfers in these .ini's?? e.g. you can buy lewandowski for free for the next season. he is 25 years old. if i want to buy e.g. januzaj in winter break i must pay money for him. he's 18 years old. i think you can buy players for free from 23 upwards but not under 23 years! in real live they can do this.

I also searched for a value which allows you to sign players under 23, which have only 6 months left on contract.
Unfortunetaly nothing found yet, but maybe beta990 can manage it.

Main Menu -> Football Club -> Catalogue -> Career (2500 EAFC Points, which you should have easily)

If you´re using a pirate version, you won´t get any support here.

Its too hard to sign players, they don't accept contracts.

I am playing as arsenal, I offered Diego from wolfsburg 140k wages when his base wage is 80k and he says no? Also offered Piszczek from dortmund 100k wages when his base is 60k and he also said no!!! Same happened with chiellini for juventus.

Can this be changed?

Also, have you made it easier to get other jobs? You normally just get rejected by everyone.

Sorry, but don't understand what you mean. Young players already have a contract, so you still need to buy them.

Lewandowski and others players seem to renew their contracts. I'm trying to get this undone, so far unsuccessful. Will try to improve this in the next version.

For what I tested the mods will be applied immediately after you click on next-day button. It's the same for installing gameplay mods, they will also be applied without needed 'resetting' the game.

So to answer the rest of your questions: fitness/scouting/retiring/etc. will be applied without needing starting over after each update (from this mod).

If you want to know for sure (for yourself): change the squad number in cmsettings.ini to 42 instead of the 40 I set. You will see that it is applied when you start the career.

- Yes, you get jobs more easier. Just look at the browse for jobs menu. You don't get any message in your inbox anymore (from FIFA 13>).

how can i know that this mod is actived? i try to create new careers to see if suarez goes to barca for 66M but i cant i think that is not actived and this year i have fifa 14 original :P

I don't think its the manager level that's the problem because I have never had a problem signing players with a club as big as arsenal before.

Is there something I can change in my files to make it easier for me to get players I'm signing to agree to contracts?



I will also download v3 and see if I have the same problem.

EDIT: It seems to only be players that are in the top 2-3 players at their clubs, they just refuse to sign, even if the club you are managing is better

Great work ... For now just did not like the fatigue of the players, I think they are losing more energy between matches. In "cmsettings" where I can modify this so that the players get tired less?

Use "Fifa File Explorer" by Jenkey and open the data 1. There u will find the right folders

Hey can you take a look at the pre contract issues...after 3-4 seasons we can sign players like hazard ,oscar,balotelli who will have less than 6 mnths on their contract for free .This really seems unrealistic as no team will let go of these players for free

Can you explain player growth system a bit more...
becaues some young players grow by +4 during 1st two mnts and other youngsters dont grow at all even if you play them regularly...
IS there any way to edit or fix this??

Hello sir beta990 , thank you for all your work, my main question is: -Can i edit somehow, only the growth of my players, because i want to sign low overall players and i want to grow them fast, but to be able to grow only players from my team, because in 2013, i used once career editing, and i've grown my 60-65 ovr. players to 75 in like 1 season, but also players like messi rooney ronaldo and others also got their ovr. increased...so can i edit somehow the player growth only from players from my team, thank you !
