Is there any way to totally disable negative growth? I'm sick of the older players declining so quickly, I would rather they didn't decline at all.

I've seen that bit about changing the values to 0. Thanks for that! Have you found a way to stop players from other teams declining?

Hi all!
I have done some very long term testing of your latest mod beta990, and all it seems ok, only thing still not working is youth player growth, and in this category I include scouted players and regenerated.Up untill age of 21 or 22 they are not growimg at all, with very rtare exception, when they are growing one point.
So this means that it must be something else that is regulating young players growth, and is not in playergrowth, since I have modified this in all posible ways, with the same result.
What is bothering me is that all others settings can be modified from the dlc folder, except this one, and I am still searching for the problem.Hopefully I will find it, or even better maybe you can find it, beta990, or somebody else

Its already working now and no i buyed fifa 14 from g2play. .. anyway thanks for help ... i just delete some files from fifa 14 in documents and regenerate after that it worked

I have ~10 young and perspective players but they are weak now.I want practice for them but no one wants them to loan out.

beta990, do you know what day (day/month) is a growth of all players? In career, your players are growth every month, when going from 31th to 1st. But the rest players are growing up only once a year.

It's always been May I think. At least I know that players in your youth academy grow in May again, so I think it's the same for the other players from other teams.

Except the patch changed something in this regard.

hey how can i use my own slider settings coz in the rna.ini file they are already defined ....if i change them in game will it overwrite the current values???
If not how can i change them manually coz i want to change them myself??plz reply

sorry new to FIFA14 modding... I want to use moddingway and this tool. After installing moddingway then this tool, if I want to use i68 regenerator instead, what do i need to click to be green as well as what to choose on the drop down menu? Thanks for the help.

If you don't know what to choose (I don't know too, I don't even used i68) you can use other regenerator. File Master or FHL-BH-Editor.

Hey guys I found the solution for the problem, that no transfers are beeing done on the last day. Here is a screenshot where you can compare the FIFA 13 "transfer.ini" and the one from FIFA 14 from beta990.
In FIFA 13 it worked perfect with these values.
The values in the black-marked area I had changed like the ones from the FIFA 13 transfer.ini

Have you tried increasing player growth for older players as well? And is there a way to influence how potential changes during a season?

I've got Sami Khedira in my team with a potential of 88. He's stuck on 85 OVR since the beginning of the season although he is one of my best players. He's already 27 years old, but that didn't stop players from growing in Fifa 13. Older players from other teams seem to quickly reach their potential if they haven't already.
I've tried editing MAX_PLAYER_AGE_FOR_POTENTIAL_PLAYER, FORM_AGE_DIVISION and NON_PRIMARY_ATTRIB_AGE_DIVISION and set them to 34, but it didn't quite help. Khedira did grow to 86 OVR after simulating two weeks but he only developed mental attributes. In Fifa 13 at this age, he would still develop things like passing.

As for potential changes, in Fifa 13, players of any age were able to increase their original potential by many points if they played excellent for the whole season. One of my GKs, now aged 26, started out with 86 Potential and maintained a form of above 8,00 for 1 1/2 seasons now. However, after he reached 86 OVR, he stopped growing. I've simulated the season to the end and the next season to the winter transfer window and he stayed on 86. In Fifa 13, he would have reached 88 or 89 by now.
I've checked the potential values via Internal Master 12 and he's still at 86, so his potential didn't increase despite great form. Other players (especially young ones) who don't even play regularily have increased their potentials by 10 points and above on the other hand. This happened mostly with players who returned from loans at the end of the season.

I released V2 yesterday, no big changes made. Only a few bug-fixes/small things corrected.

I'm (still) reading posts and I've got some ideas that I would like to try. I'm expect to release a new version for the end of this month. Don't know what will be possible, but I hope to address some things that you guys pointed out (player growth, transfer-marked, career-mode seasons increase, etc.).
