Big big glitch with the demo, and yet another reason I may just stick with the demo and add-ons this year. The game has Madden-style suction tackling. This has happened to me a number of times now, each time right around the CPU's box: I tap the ball forward to escape the defender, but instead of allowing me to continue on the ball, the programming sucks me sideways and backwards into what I assume is the defender's tackle animation. Could be a glitch, could just be push-pull values in the product file that regularcat or someone could tweak, IDK. My player is in yellow:

Surely this sentence is a glitch in itself? :)

If anything it need reporting so it does or will or might already be banished with full release justifying to not stick with the demo :)

Im joking a little here.

Ha-ha! ;) What I mean is if this glitch is indicative of the final product, it's another reason for me to stick with the demo + add-on teams and stadiums this year. I'm already loving the fact the demo has none of the emotional engine coding and plays a fair and balanced game from start to finish, unlike the full game. First time ever I've truly enjoyed this game without ripping my hair out over the CPU cheating.

Another MAJOR gameplay programming glitch. As you know EA added a bit of gameplay coding in FIFA 14 where the CPU will suddenly stop and aimlessly turn around in a circle a few times. I suppose this was their attempt at coding in CPU possession football, but whatever. Well I've noticed the CPU will do this at the completely wrong times, like here on a clear breakaway. #92 El Shaarawy is the CPU ball carrier. Instead of continuing on towards the goal and shooting, he decides to make like a ballerina and perform a rather untimely pirouette, allowing my defender to catch up and poke the ball away:

From my point, player themselves do not look that better.
Just everything around is cooler.

At 0:34 you can see how guys from outside throw new ball to the player: I like that, gives some realism.

Apart from the upgrade in graphics: Looks. Exactly. The. Same.

Nice to look at though, no question.

Nice on the eye a little more with some extra shader depth etc and fluff/crowed, but ignore that and the overall pace and anims and well ... the game play I cant see anything different either, certainly not with what a modded DB/ini can do on current. Which makes the "cant run on PC" crap even worse :)

Early builds etc, but this vast more anims info and tactical AI details etc certainly doesn't seem to be added to that build.

Mid range graphics card upgrade at best, also bear in mind recording from a screen can give a surprisingly better gloss to a game. Also the ballboy feature, I cant see why that needs next gen as a small feature and cant happen in current. I notice that it still causes a detect and wipe to pre set placement if the ball doesn't get picked up.

Do you guys think that someone will be able to port stuffs from next gen to current gen? As I said some time ago, it seems to me as if the "brandnew" Engine is just an improved current engine.

Been checking the EA forums and places and some dreaded pattern are emerging such as ...

"Demo was amazing, full release is back to playing like 13". Ball stuck to player, headers overpowered (were in demo though), "speed is a little faster than demo" and so on.

Oh dear, needs full release and more posts from reliable sources to really get the low down fully.

Whoever is a modder and gets the full game please post if this is actually correct.

Well they did it last year. I bought FIFA 13 based on the demo which I really liked, but the full game played very different. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Completely enjoying the demo with stadium and team add-ons, I see no reason to buy the full game if they've changed the full game gameplay as Fifamonkey is saying.

Ha I am little disappointed :X I hoped that there would be some more changes to the demo. (Especially around the pitch) But no. What really annoys me is that the players run soo long ways for a throw in. Ignite version has guys that throw new balls from the side. Current version has some 3D guys standing around but they do nothing -.-
