I did not understand that Smooth Curve Shape that you talked about? You don't use any modifiers right?
I mean the curve shape for eyelashes, making a smooth curve shape mannually.

Just tested with Palacio's hair model which i had exported some time ago, and it worked good for me. Can you send me a file which has a problem to test it myself?

You can still get it to work, by playing around with the scale of those objects, but you better wait for the final version :D

Btw i just realized there is no point increasing the precision, because of the format that EA uses in order to store the vertex positions. Its up to 10 decimal positions and i have set this to 12. Increasing it won't make any difference at all.

I also spoke with some face makers and noone has a similar issue. This issue is very very weird :S

Colback's ID is 193942. I don't believe that other face makers don't have this issue but I guess they don't realize the issue happened. It is because you need to fit the hair or eyelashes really close to the head model, then you export it and import the new file, you will see some vertices have displaced and overlapped with the head model. If they didn't fit the models tight, the displacement of vertices is not obvious since overlapping might not happen though the vertices displaced. Do you mean the displacement is caused by rounding up/down of decimal? What do you think changing it to 10 decimal positions as same as EA does? Or restricting blender's vertices coordinate system to 10 decimal?

An idea just flashed into my mind when I was in bathroom.:o See the illustration I posted before.

I make the eyelashes horizontally equal and export in Object Mode.


In CM, they look like how they are in Blender.

Isn't it a proof that the vertices positions are saved properly? But it is strange that they displaced if they are not in horizontal or vertical line and it is contradicting to the trick we was thinking of.

I think we need to test in a more detailed way. I will check the eye, head, hair_0, hair_1 of a few models and write down the variation of the exported vertices positions. From my own experience, visually, the displacement of vertices only happens on hair models. I will tell you the results no longer than next weekend.

It seems like you are using more color maps than the ones needed. You only need one color map in normal objects and 3 when using the concreteshadow material.

Make sure you have setup the sky material correctly. It should be working, try again.

Yeah test it again and let me know. The test i made in the morning was to edit the eylashes of palacio's hair model. After i reimported my model looked exactly like it should.

You are surely missing something. Check the settings of the template again.

The sky is so easy to setup
1) Material name "sky"
2) Only one UV Map needed (if you take the model from the template you don't even need to do this)
3) One Diffuse Texture with the sky_placeholster.

Should work out of the box.
