I am playing with the patched database. Well, that explains it. Thanks for clarifying. But there are some players in the Free Agents that are great signings for low ranking teams, that are must signs ahead of the first season... any way for you to fix this in a different way?

The minimum number of free agents players, is secured by a specific command line present in one of the initialization files of the career mode (cmsettings.ini believe, but I do not remember by heart). The default value is 45, again if memory serves me correctly.

There is also a line that sets the minimum number of players that a team must have in his roster, before the game brings a player to the free agents, refilling the minimum number, if for any reason, this was undersized.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Tried deleting this,

NUM_TEAMS_TO_LIST_FOR_MEDIUM_LEAGUES=550
while playing in Serie A and it does seem to solve the crashing after the 3rd season but I noticed I stopped receiving any offers from other clubs for any of my players unless I put them up for loan/transfer.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Don't delete the line... simply reduce the number of listed teams.

Contract pricing issues. I.e, if someone's contract was expiring in 6 months, the price they would demand would not change. They would still demand market value price or more, even though my scout would suggest offering 40-50% of there market value due to the expiring contract. You suggested editing the contract values, however, that only effected the price the scout would suggest and not the price the club would accept. So the length of contracts were essentially irrelevant when buying players, having no effect on the deal.

If you mean Global Transfer Network, that fix is located here: FIFA 15\dlc\dlc_FootballCompEng\dlc\FootballCompEng\data\gtndatareveal.csv. You can delete this file and regenerate.

I either get the "We haven't seen enough of you at this club" or "we're not sure granting you additional funds will bring success to the club" replies. I've been winning trophies pretty consistently and my players are growing so quick i have funnel most of my budget into player wages because they're all underpaid.

Hey Beta, just wanted to bring to your attention that it's nearly impossible for me to get extra money from the board. I either get the "We haven't seen enough of you at this club" or "we're not sure granting you additional funds will bring success to the club" replies. I've been winning trophies pretty consistently and my players are growing so quick i have funnel most of my budget into player wages because they're all underpaid.

This is caused by this variable being to low :

BUDGETSAFETYNET_THRESHOLD=50000 // Safety net for transfers

Default value is 10000000 so you can put it back or an other thing like 15millions or whatever you want. This value control the amount where the board will start to reject requests.
And for the percentage variable just after, i'm not really sure if it's rejection or approval percentage. Didn't tested but I think it's rejection

Sorry, only update the database if EA releases something new (teams, players, etc.)

The current database is still good enough, although some player levels may be dropped/increased in the EA updates, it isn't that big of a deal.

It takes a lot of time to prepare a database update:
1. Download on a clean game, export db, clean-ups
2. Patch database (correct Ids)
3. Testing
Time that I don't have at the moment.

For the career mode I don't think it isn't a big deal to have the latest updates, since player values/levels.. drop/increase of the player (e.g. you) decisions.

I'm however always happy to help and/or provide my patching tools.

They're others as well that I can't remember at the moment, not sure what could be causing this?? It's happened in all my careers, always those three players. To ad, after telling me they've recently moved, they will then accept an offer from another club lol.

Also, had a look at the expiring contract issue yet?

Its a really great patch
The overall gameplay is good, but I have a big problem.
Its almost impossible to miss a shot. Im playing in League two and in 5 matchs I scored 20 goals. And almost every time the CPU shot they score.

I tried the sliders but didn't solve the problem.

Is there a way to uninstall just the gameplay?

I've got the same problem :-/. I usually score screamers from distance, even though I use Shot Error - 100 in sliders. What is more I play Bournemouth in Career Mode and it is no problem to score from distance with a player, who is 60 overall (long shots 68).
Any ideas how to solve it?

I'm using v5.0 RC3 and having an issue where I cannot loan/sell players that I have just promoted from my youth team.

They are all 60-70 overall. I have loaned out players with smaller overalls than them so I am not sure what could be causing this.

Any ideas?

I tested using the transferteamdecision.ini from version 7.0 with my saved game from v5.0 RC3 but still see the same problem. The players aren't yet good enough to play in my first team so I want to sell/loan them out in the meantime.
