For Chrome users, Go to Inspect element and in the code that's displayed find the image link, usually starts with cdn. open that link in a different tab and then edit the url as xavialex mentioned. To avoid going through that hastle each time, install AdBlock and when you open any page on the site which has the image you want embedded in it, right click on the image and choose Block Element. Then you can right click on the image and choose Open image in new tab.
