FIFA 15 was the first game that introduced Denuvo DRM.
Cracking it took a while, but quickly enough to publish a crack. Especially that FIFA 15 on PC on launch was in abysmal state.
AFAIK cracking FIFA 16 was even more tedious and as the predicted time to crack it was after the launch of FIFA 17, time and effort was put to crack future games easier. So FIFA 17 was cracked pretty quickly, but FIFA 16 wasn't ever cracked in a traditional sense. The only way was by bypassing it using demo version and overwriting games files with full release.
And as demo cannot be assigned to the Origin account anymore, this method is obsolete.

Therefore, FIFA 16 remains uncracked. And knowing how cracking groups operate, I don't expect anyone to even consider cracking it in 2023 maybe unless you pay someone a huge amount of money.

in my time it was really cheap, but I was in college and I didn't have money for anything, here in Brazil things are very complicated and at the time it wasn't possible to buy games all the time even though they were "cheap"
